Defending My Daughter

Defending My Daughter

"We're sorry your daughter has been expelled, but you need to reflect on yourself for faking injuries and threatening the school. Now you've even lost your job… People like you who break the rules will be outcasts everywhere." Ms. Watson snorted, stepped forward, and leaned down, towering over my daughter. My daughter flinched, burying herself in my arms. "Bad upbringing leads to bad kids!" Ms. Watson whispered into my daughter's ear, her voice soft yet filled with malice. "Of course a morally corrupt mother wouldn't raise a good kid. You little liar." "Shut your mouth!" My face went red, and my fingers gripped the doorframe so tightly they hurt.

My Daughter’s Phone Call from the Past

My Daughter’s Phone Call from the Past

I was the one who had killed my daughter. Unable to face it, I fell into madness. I invented these calls across time and convinced myself that I could bring her back. How pathetic. With a creak, the door opened, and I saw a familiar face. However, two people were standing at the entrance of Ward 11. The one in a white lab coat adjusted his frameless glasses. “Her treatment is complete. I’ll leave the rest to you.” Next to him, a man in a police uniform stepped forward. “You remember everything now, don’t you?”

Sebastian's Obsession

Sebastian's Obsession

I blinked. "Your... daughter?" "Yes." She laughed softly. "My daughter." Then, almost instantly— "Oh..." "My mistake." "You wouldn't know." I remained silent. She was right. I didn't. Ten years. Somewhere during those ten years... Life had quietly moved forward. Penelope had married. Started a family. Had a daughter. And now... That daughter was old enough to attend college. Time really didn't wait for anyone. "Her name is Petal," Penelope continued.

The Lycan's Prized Omega

The Lycan's Prized Omega

“Unbelievable. So you were not only going to sell your daughter, you were going to try to scam me into letting you have more time to pay off the loan even though you knew perfectly well the due date had passed by midnight. Unbelievable....Your gall amazes me.” “I refuse to give her to you so you can just… just… use her as if he’s nothing more than a—” “For your sake, I suggest you don’t finish that sentence. I would never dishonor your daughter by reducing her to nothing more than a kept pet. I will join with her, and as my mate, she couldn’t have a higher title than anybody else. I'll treasure her.” “That’s all you want?” "That’s it. The honor of mating your daughter and the three businesse

The CEO's Daughter

The CEO's Daughter

he asked, impressed. "Maybe," I replied bluntly. I knew that people who recognized me as my father's daughter were often more interested in my social status than me as a person. "My father is George Samuels, the owner of MAXCO." I felt a shiver run down my spine at the mention of that wretched company. Who would have thought that the son of the man trying to defraud my father was standing right in front of me? I smiled politely at Christopher, and he returned it with more enthusiasm. Why did hearing his father's name make me nauseous while he made me feel nervous with just a look from his blue eyes?

The Forgotten Daughter

The Forgotten Daughter

He stood around 6ft 4 with dark brown fluffy hair, similar to Kairo really just a lot darker, his eyes were darker too, the deepest brown, so dark they could almost be black if it wasn't for the caramel specks, he was a fairly muscly man but it wasn't muscle like the pack warriors. I guess Uncle Mac is doing drop off today, I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my sports bag from the foot of my bed and ran out to the car just in time. Ahh I can't wait for the day I can leave this house for good! Don't get me wrong I'm beyond grateful to Auntie Cece and Uncle Mac, they didn't have to take me in and raise me, they could have left me to the orphanage. No one would have blamed them, they have three boys

The Rejected Daughter

The Rejected Daughter

I cooed as she neighed and maintained her steady gallop. ~Nyx~ I sat in the dark cold room cuddled in the tattered blanket. I sighed at the immeasurable standing of my current situation. I never made my debut into society. To be honest neither of the Sparrow daughters have made a debut into society. The constant rumors of my sickly demeanor kept society from asking questions about me. But the same couldn’t be said for my sister. Rumors flew about her and the Marquess did nothing about them. It would be hard to claim myself as the daughter of the Marquess with the way I look. No one would believe me and it would be almost laughable.

The devil you know

The devil you know

He had talked to his man and the daughter and they both had agreed to a marriage between the daughter and Carl’s son. “Dad, can I borrow her?” his son asked, looking at the pet that was sitting at his feet. Carl sighed again. “Fine,” he said, kicking the pet so she would go to his son. Jacob took the woman and placed her in his lap. “What is your name?” Carl heard his son ask. He rolled his eyes. For the love of all that was holy, how did he get such a weak son? After more of the awkward small talk, his son finally got down to business, having the pet ride him while he grunted and asked her if she liked it. Carl decided to ignore the embarrassment that was his son and instead focus on the me

AWESOME! This is one of the very best mafia love stories that I have read on this site. Great storyline, strong characters, interesting, not drawn out, fantastic ending and written well. I am adding you to my favorite author list. Will be reading more of your completed works. Great job author!

Read in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. Great storyline and characters. Like most books on this platform some grammar and other things are incorrect. However, most can be easily overlooked due to how much you get drawn into the story by the main character.

The Daughter They Traded Away

The Daughter They Traded Away

“The Miami project has been losing money for three months. I will go there and fix it.” In my past life, my father took the trust fund my mother left me, and all of it ended up in Seraphina's pocket. When things got bad, I asked her for fifty thousand dollars. She laughed and transferred thirty thousand with a note that said her sister loved her. I learned my lesson, and I refused to make the same mistake again.
