ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA

ELARA; THE LUNAR ALPHA

If I could not become its vessel now, I would find another way. I would control it. The doors groaned as I pushed them open, revealing a massive library carved into the rock. The torches burned with an eerie blue light, illuminating countless scrolls and ancient tomes. Only a few knew of this place. Fewer still dared to enter. The Dark Spirit had been summoned before—long ago, before my time. The answers I sought lay in these pages. I strode forward, grabbing an old book from the nearest shelf. Dust rose in the air as I flipped through the brittle pages, my eyes scanning the ancient symbols.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

My nostrils flared as I sucked in deep breaths, fighting to keep my wits about me. “What do you want from me?” I rasped. If I could get it talking, then maybe I could find a way out of this. I wouldn’t. But it was worth a shot. The spirit moved to one side, its footsteps slow, predator-like. It moved to the other side, its gaze never leaving me. Its mouth opened wider, and it laughed. “Blood.” Blood? “Why?” The spirit crouched, ready to attack. “Thiiiiirsty.”

But now, as it sat there, I knew. Finding that dusty book on the back of the highest shelf in the sprawling library had been no accident; it had found me. And Selena wanted me to finish the ritual. She wanted me to… bind a spirit to my unborn baby. Her spirit? Frowning, I threw the covers off of myself and swung my legs over the side of the bed, standing. I slowly walked over to the book, which was illuminated by the warm golden light of the rising sun peeking in through the curtains. I swallowed and reached out, running my fingers along the soft leather.

the story is great don't get me wrong. this book is two parts as we speak, the first is when Nina and Enzo met and they get their happily ever after. the Book two is their life after marriage. let me just say "The story plot is getting redundant". the conflict presented is just repeating...

This started out promising and quickly turned into a waste of time. The FMC is a dumb, cringey, genetic, basic b!tch. Posts won't be shown without a 5 star rating, but this is definitely a 1 star. 2 if feeling generous.

DEATH REINCARNATE

DEATH REINCARNATE

Whispering, “Daughter of the sun, holder of its light. You will be the spirit of the day, but will take the nature of the dark.” Sealing the first that represents the golden flame, a spirit is born. “Daughter of the moon, holder of its darkness. You will be the spirit of the night, but will take the nature of the dark.” Blowing the soul and blessing of life and security, the spirit twins are born, as the pages of the book flip and end into that particular page. The words that are written are being echoed, with his words, as he reads. “THE SPIRITS: HANNAH LYN MIOKI

“giving off alot of energy.” Behind her, I saw shelves and dim lamps and the shadow of the reading tables. The library smelled like paper and dust and something older, like pressed flowers long turned to powder. “Is it the wraiths?” I asked, before I could stop myself. Her eyes narrowed. “So you have given them a name?” Heat climbed my neck. “Well, there's been rumors about spirits.” She studied me for a heartbeat that felt like five. “Go straight to your hostel,” she said. “Don't linger near old places. Don't follow any voice that calls you from outside the walls.”

Academy Of Cursed Hearts

Academy Of Cursed Hearts

When I stepped into the hall, Jason caught my arm. “Aria....” “I’m going to the library,” I said. “There’s a book. In the restricted wing. On Binding Hungry Spirits.” He stared at me. “You can barely walk.” “I can remember,” I said. “And that’s enough.” The library was empty. I found the book hidden behind a false panel, its pages brittle, ink faded to rust. It spoke of the Hollow Revenant: born from the first soul denied burial, bound by blood-oaths, sustained by external animus.

Whispers of the Forgotten

Whispers of the Forgotten

She had made her choice, and she would not dwell on things that could not be changed. On a quiet afternoon, Lyra found herself in the heart of an ancient library—a place she had visited many times before in her quests for forgotten memories. The library was vast, its shelves filled with scrolls and tomes that stretched back through the ages, documenting the lives, histories, and memories of countless souls. Dust hung in the air, illuminated by shafts of light that filtered through the tall windows. It was a place of peace, a sanctuary for those seeking knowledge.

The Lycan Pet

The Lycan Pet

Spirit stood before us but her manic smile wasn’t the one that had made me take a step back, no it was the large residue of black soot that took over the wall behind her and had a figure like that of a horned goat that had astonished me. This figure had been famous in books to have connection to demonic entities and I wasn’t sure if this was true but even to see it formed at such a large scale was already boggling enough. “You like it? My lord gave me power and now you will be able to feel it too,” Spirit said with a chuckle and I wondered if there was truly any escape possible if we weren’t even dealing with something that was of this earth.

Legend Of The Third Spirit

Legend Of The Third Spirit

"If only I could find a copy of it, I wouldn't have to bother you. But I was too late since everything has been cleared off before I could get myself one." Faz shook his head and slightly scratched it. "It'd be my honor, your highness. But I did have a copy of it but sadly that old woman who owned the biggest library in the kingdom borrowed it so she can make more copies of it and haven't returned it yet. Until one day, I just heared her library was the first to be cleared out. I don't hope for it to be returned anymore." "Alright. Forget it. Just get started. Would it be fine for you if I wanted to know everything that you know?"

Moonlight's Deception

Moonlight's Deception

All of its heads hissed in their direction as they approached, but Willow held out a hand and they settled down. “How do you do that?” Clara asked, amazed. “It’s an enchantment. Don’t ask me how. I won’t tell you. It’s a wind spirit’s thing.” The gargoyles bent and twisted before finally parting out of the way, and they went through. Behind the door guarded by the three-headed gargoyles was a mini version of the academy’s huge library but dusty and windowless. On the floor was a frayed carpet that looked like it hadn’t been washed for ages. In every step, there were clouds of dust puffing out of it. Although thankfully, there were at least pieces of wooden furniture that existed in this part
