He stood up, wiped my tears with his fingers, and kissed the tears away.
Then he pulled me closer, our bodies pressing against each other, and he gave me a chaste kiss. The busybodies, I didn’t realize, had now milled around us, and an applause erupts as Stavros sealed it with a kiss.
We thanked the artist, and Stavros paid him generously.
