Left Behind in the Heat

Left Behind in the Heat

When the extreme-heat apocalypse arrived, surface temperatures reached 158°F, and the first group of people began moving to Frostpoint Base. As a scientist, my wife had two spots to bring family members with her. Everyone thought she would take me without hesitation. But in the end, she put the name of her graduate student on the application. "He's my student, and he doesn't have his parents with him. I can't bear to leave him alone in a place this hot." She submitted the application without a second thought. Her next words chilled me to the bone. "Ethan, you're different. You've been tough since you were a kid. I know you can survive until the second group is evacuated." I forced a bitter s

Alpha Erik

Alpha Erik

I asked again. “She left in the middle of the night. She left a note claiming she couldn’t do this anymore. Couldn’t live a life of rules and confinement. She couldn’t be mated to a monster destined to bring her into a life of darkness. She left and told no one of her intentions or true destination.” Silas said. I could feel the uncertainty of his words. Feel the lies pouring from between his lips.

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

Devil's Psychopathic Obsession

Devil's Psychopathic Obsession

Maplewood was quiet in a healing way. Three years earlier, she had left a different life behind. She had left a man with dark ways and dangerous friends. She had cut the thread that tied her fast to fear. She had promised to keep Rena safe. Leaving had been the hardest thing she ever did. But the town had taken her in. She tucked those memories away for a moment. She didn't let her mind wander anymore. She didn't want to think about him. Today, the air smelled like fresh coffee and warm bread. The bells jingled as more people came in.

Empire of Her Own

Empire of Her Own

Patient as always. "It was about what I chose after." For years, people had told my story differently. Some called it a story of betrayal. Others called it a story of revenge. Business magazines called it a story of resilience. Leadership conferences called it a story of transformation. They weren't wrong. But they weren't entirely right either. Because none of those things captured the truth. The truth was much simpler. A woman had reached a point where staying cost more than leaving. And she left. Everything else came later.

Left Behind on My Wedding Day

Left Behind on My Wedding Day

She gloated for a while longer, and when I didn’t respond immediately, she sent another jab, "If I hadn’t left the country back then, do you really think you’d even have a chance?" I quickly texted back, "Great! Let’s switch places. You help me leave, and I’ll leave the Scott family to you. The title of Mrs. Scott will be all yours." She hesitated for a moment but ultimately refused. "I want to wait for Evan to personally kick you out of the Scott family. There’s no way I’d miss the show of watching a pathetic loser like you hit rock bottom."

Her Heart Left Our Home

Her Heart Left Our Home

"Poor guy… He just wanted his kid to have a normal fifth birthday." "Isn't using money and power to crush them like this a bit too much?" I stepped forward, staring down at Oscar with something close to amusement. "Are you saying she was just helping out?" Oscar blinked, thrown off guard, but I didn't wait for his answer. With a nod from me, Terry stepped forward and held out a folder that contained everything we had uncovered. The crowd erupted. It turned out that, years ago, Samantha had told me that she was going abroad to study for over a year.

Twisted Temptation

Twisted Temptation

She screamed my name to the empty landscape, her voice echoing into the vast sky. We fell asleep every night tangled in each other’s arms, her head on my chest, her soft breaths tickling my skin. She told me stories of her childhood in Texas, of how lonely she felt even now in this big house, of how she never felt wanted until me. I kissed away her tears and promised her I’d never leave. On the day Dad was supposed to return, we packed her things. “I’m leaving him,” she whispered as she folded her clothes into a suitcase. “I can’t stay here anymore. I don’t want him. I want you.”

I Left the Day She Got Pregnant

I Left the Day She Got Pregnant

"What I wanted was never the position of Luna. I only wanted a mate who truly loved and cherished me. And you couldn't give me that. Now, I'm an independent senior healer, not someone's Luna. You once had everything, yet you shattered it with your own hands." I looked at his face, now deathly pale and drained of color, and said one last thing. "What we had ended long ago. And that mate bond dissolution scroll? I signed it five years ago. Please sign it too. Dragging this out benefits no one. Stop disturbing my life." With that, I turned away without looking back and left decisively. At the end of the garden, Finnegan stood quietly waiting for me. He asked no questions. He simply extended his

CORRUPT ME (GIVING MY INNOCENCE TO MY BROTHER'S BESTFRIEND)

"Tell me about it." He was quiet for a moment, turning something over. Deciding how much to give me and what to keep back, which was smart. "She left," he said finally. "That's the simple version. She built a story about what we were that suited her and she left and now she's living in a very expensive house with a very powerful man and performing recovered for an audience that believes her." Something moved in his expression, subtle and cold. "I don't like things left unfinished." "And what does finished look like?" I asked.
