“I’ve heard things about you.”
“I’m sure you have.” I replied, my eyes already moved toward the exit.
Sebastian leaned between us. “Careful, Verity. He bites.”
She laughed again, clearly enjoying herself, but I stepped away.
I realized my phone was missing when we reached the exit.
“I’ll grab it,” I said.
The hallway near the VIP lounge was quieter.
“Our mother will be furious,” Verity said.
“Good,” Blaine replied. “Let her be.”
“She’s back,” Verity continued. “Alessa, that little heiress is back, and mum has been angry.”
