Katie sat in the cozy office of her therapist, Dr. Elizabeth James, her hands clasped together tightly in her lap. The past few weeks had been a rollercoaster of emotions, and she had finally recognized the need for professional guidance to help her navigate the complexities of her heart. Dr. James, a compassionate and understanding therapist, sat across from Katie, her warm gaze encouraging Katie to open up. But then, therapists know how to find their way around questions, and they ask you so calmly, without judging your answers. They let you show every expression and reaction without pulling you back. The man was right in my face and it's awkward having to breath all on his face whilst I answer his questions. "Well if you need be, whether that be now, next week or even next year. I am also a spectacular therapist. I lack patients to treat in that department being that the majority of the men around here see therapy as A sign of weakness. But I assure you I am here if you need be" he offered, not breaking his concentration. "I'm ok for now. Thankyou" I smiled although I'm not sure he could see my smile when his eyes were glued to his rubber gloved hands as they removed my stitches.

I stood up from the white plastic chair and stared at the book the therapist was using to write some of my statements. "Are you leaving?" She asked. "I am only taking a walk, ma," I laughed. "I have been meeting you for almost a month now and I don't know your name. Do you mind telling me your name?" "I don't mind," the therapist smiled. "My name is Sarah." "Well, Sarah, I got to go."
