I asked, my voice dripping with menace. “Richard! Richard sent us!” Andrew screamed, tears streaming down his face as he tried to stop the blood gushing from his stump. “Who?” I furrowed my brows. Richard? Who the hell is Richard? The sharp cries of the stupid man made it hard to concentrate. The name didn't ring any bells. “Richard! The third son of Don Jones!” he cried out. Raising an eyebrow, I almost laughed. Someone from the family, huh? When do they plan to stop? After I’ve killed them all?

he asked. I smiled faintly. “There was never a reason to,” I said. Not until now. Not until everything began to align in a way that could no longer be ignored. Torin exhaled slowly, his shoulders relaxing just a fraction as he looked away briefly, then back at me. “And this third son,” he said, his voice quieter now, “do you know anything else about him?” I shook my head. “Only what I have told you,” I replied. Narek straightened slightly, his expression returning to something more focused.

Conrad scoots an inch or two away from Amber, not wanting her clothes to smell of smoke; she has enough issues at the moment. "Oh. So it was a conditional joining?" Conrad confirms, and Amber nods, puffing on her cigarette.

I assumed the third person was the one who had killed the two men and fled. “There was a third person here. I can smell their scent, fading but there was definitely another person here. Most likely the one who killed these two.” I replied thinking nothing of it, my senses were much more heightened than Rhett’s, but a tracker should have caught it. “Did you have any trackers in here?” “Yah just one, he could only scent the Alpha’s son and got nothing from the unknown. He detected no other scents.” I could feel his frustration and curiosity from the other side of the room.

Xavier asked “Really late. I couldn’t leave her alone. I had to watch over her” “Yes you had to, considering the fact that you and Laura both decided to remove her baby without her consent. Did the guilt keep you up?” Xavier asked, still not looking up from his book “How did you know about that?” Jared asked “I find something amusing about this book. The man who was from a fairly rich background sells all his father has just to spite his father. That is not where it gets interesting. The most interesting part is that his father is an on old man on his death bed. He was literally dying and all his son could do was hate his father and he had carried that hate for his father around all his life

All because of one man While still in the bathtub, my eyes caught sight of an iron rod that lay on the floor. I didn't know how it came about, but I considered it a gift from God. I stepped out of the bathtub and walked to where it was with water dripping down my wet body. I picked it up, examined it, and smiled as a satisfying thought came to my head. It was strong enough and if I struck well enough, it was going to do the job. If things worked out, I was going to run away with my daughter and I could finally be happy. "Shaun" I whispered as a smile crept to my cheeks. I could finally be with him. But first I HAD TO KILL ASHER
