The Lost Bet

She screamed. “You are not, not anymore.” He spoke as he bit her neck to the extent that she felt as if he will snatch out her flesh. “Please, let me go.” “That husband of yours lost you on a bet. I am the winner, and you belong to me. Just me.” She knew what Aslan was saying was right. John had indeed lost her on a poker table as if she was nothing but another of his belongings just like his watch or an old table.

William explained to her. Brieanna thought how silly could the dares be? It's nothing so she nodded. "Who will go first?" She asked him. "Uhm... let's do rock, paper, scissors. Who loses will take one first," He replied. They both readied theirselves, their hands in midair. "Rock, Paper, Scissors." They both said as they shake their fist up and down. "Ugh!" Brieanna groaned when she lost. She had a paper and he had a freakin scissor!

Game of Hearts

Game of Hearts

I couldn't tear my eyes away, feeling like an intruder in this private moment. My mind raced with questions, doubts, and a profound sense of betrayal. What had happened to the childhood friend I had known? And who was the girl in his arms? As I stood there, hidden in the shadows, I couldn't help but wonder if the chasm between Conrad and me had grown too wide to bridge, and if I was truly an outsider in this new world I had entered. My heart pounding like a drum in my chest, I attempted to make a hasty retreat, silently cursing my curiosity for leading me into this uncomfortable situation. I took a step back, trying to blend into the shadows, but my attempt to sneak away was sabotaged by a c

Hacked Hearts

My mind started making scenarios on what he could do and how he could do it. “Ray.” I warned. “Don’t do something stupid and your war is with me so don’t involve others.” I was terrified that he might target Athena or worse Alex. “No my love. My battle was with you. My war is with this world. And it’s a war I plan to win.” He dug into his pockets and removed the beard and mustache again, attaching it back on his face. “The choice is yours.” He continued. “Do you want to join me and win this war or stay on the opposite side of me and lose the war?”

Hearts of the Fallen Empire

Hearts of the Fallen Empire

The man she'd spent years imagining. The man she'd blamed for everything. The doors opened. The executive floor was quiet. Almost unnaturally so. Floor-to-ceiling windows revealed the entire city. Employees moved with careful efficiency. Nobody lingered. Nobody wasted time. The atmosphere felt less like an office and more like a battlefield. "Your department is down this hall." The HR representative smiled. "Good luck." Then she disappeared. Seraphina took a breath. One step. Then another. The war had officially begun.

The Lost Beta

She would ignite a war no one could control. But when she looked across the river at Alexander, she saw a future. A fragile, terrifying hope she couldn’t let go. --- As she walked toward the bank, time slowed down. The icy, relentless water splashed against her boots, testing her strength. Lucien’s hand darted forward, seizing her arm. She sensed the anguish underneath it though his grip was harsh. "Please fight this," he murmured, the anger laced with a deeper emotion. “I lost your mother to their lies. Must I lose you too?”

Great storyline! Love the characters... Laughed, cried, got angry... some parts were too drawn out others too short. A few grammatical errors, but overall a truly great read!!! Definitely would recommend it to others!

I really love this book. Huge character maturity over time. Unique story for this platform. You will fall in love with the characters and may even gain a new "book boyfriend" out of the read. The book is not short, but that makes it better to follow the roller-coaster love story. Great job, author!
