The Werewolf King's Runaway Queen Novels & Stories

The silence was even becoming uncomfortable. "I have called all of you here today for an important announcement. Today the wolf people will gain a new queen." He shouts looking around. Shocked gasps run through the room. "Silence!" He growls eyes flashing to a dangerous red. "This shit is not good." Sebastian says lowly. Conner nods while my eyes stay laser focused on the so-called werewolf king. I could not put my finger on it but something was definitely amiss. "Today we shall crown our new queen. She will be by my side and rule over the wolf people alongside me." He continues. As soon as he stops a woman teleports beside him. Everyone including me took a step back, shocked beyond words.

"As you all know my daughter was cursed with no wolf, but carries both the royal blood and true Luna power. I have decided that in two weeks from today I will denounce my throne and turn my power over to our future Queen, whether she finds a mate or not. In return for her safety, I elected one of the most powerful and devoted wolves to watch over her and guide her through her ruling. I know one day she will bring forth our next King and he will be more powerful than any we have met, leading us to our rightful place in this world. Elena, my child, rise and join me." The King spoke with such love and affection that it made Elena shiver with fear.

“White wolves awaken differently. Their bond, their spirit, their transformation — everything comes later. At the moment when destiny demands it.” Destiny. That word always felt like it belonged in stories, not real life. “So Damien…” I swallowed hard. “He knew what I was?” “Yes,” Matteo said. “He would have sensed it instantly. Kings always sense rare bloodlines.” Rare blood. Rare wolf. Rare danger. My skin prickled. “But what does he want?” My voice cracked. “Why did he say that I’m… his?” Regina placed her hands on my shoulders. “Emily, listen to me carefully. The Werewolf King is not like other men. When he sets his eyes on something, he does not ask. He takes.”

"I, Elijah Deveraux, King of the werewolves, renounce my position. I freely hand over the reins to my heir Alina Deveraux, carrying the position granted by our bloodline from this day forth, to be known as Queen of the werewolves, long live the Queen!" Alina took her position beside her father, cutting her palm, and mixing it with her fathers. In a voice rusty from disuse, she intoned, "I, Alina Deveraux accept my position. I freely welcome the responsibilities of the Kingdom, granted by my bloodline from this day forth, Long may my reign continue."

“His b@stard son was never meant to see that. Oh well. Guards… You know what to do.” The guards shifted and lunged toward Rowan, who zapped out of existence, killing many in a blurred shadow. While Rowan was distracted by the guards, the Queen strolled around the King’s body until she was outside the doors Rowan entered. “Where is that mate of yours?” She pondered aloud. The Queen's words distracted Rowan enough for one of the werewolves to tear into his shoulder. He hissed at the pain, but his thoughts were on his wife. She doesn't know what has happened.

*FLASHBACK ENDS* I am standing in the dark, waiting patiently when I see the 2 wolves come out from between the trees. More wolves come out of the forest and immediately get to a protective stand, I always admired how wolves protect each other. In a flash the king shifts back to his naked human form and orders them all to stand down and after he and the queen are both dressed he turns to me. “Valerie, I apologize my people do not know your scent. So they.” The king starts but I stop him by laughing softly.

After breakfast, Darina reported for her training, and the queen greeted her with a bitter smile, ready to humiliate her. "My dear, I see Royal etiquette has already overwhelmed you since you’ve started dining only at the pack house." "Not at all, Your Majesty. I simply want to understand the pack better." "Very well," the queen said through gritted teeth. "Surely you didn’t manage to read all the books I sent you." "I read them all." "Great," the queen said, clearly surprised but unconvinced. "Then I hope you don’t mind a little quiz. What was the name of the first werewolf queen?" "Gaia."

And Rocco… he was moving deeper into my flames with every breath, binding himself to me with no assurance of surviving. I spun back towards the city, but softened my tone this time. "You know they'll come for us. For me. Perhaps even for you.” His hand folded over mine, rough fingers rubbing against the diamond studded knuckles of my hand. He drew my hand to his mouth and kissed it, slow and even, his eyes never leaving mine. "Then let them try it. Because they'll find there's only one Queen." The words wrapped around me like armour, like chains, like a vow. My heart thumped against my breast, but I stayed impassive. That was the game, anyway. A Queen never gets frightened. A Queen never sho

I say, and the name is a thing I cannot keep from breaking, “stand where you are. Snarl if you must. I will take the rest.” I throw my head and taste direction. Wolves. Too many. Too close. We move. If the werewolf king wanted a lever, he should have chosen a boulder. He chose a storm. If he wanted to unseat me, he should have sent night. He sent rumor. If he wanted a war, he has one. And if he lays a hand on her, I will teach him what a king is for.

The entire pack felt the power form in them. "The crowns." the Elder as the same boy brought in 2 crowns. Both of us kneeled in front of him. He took a golden crown and place on top of the Alpha King. "I now Crown you Xavier King as King of the werewolf Kingdom." So that's his name. Xavier. I smiled thinking about. It suits him. He took another silver crown and placed it on my head. " I now Crown you as Queen of the werewolf Kingdom." he said as another round of claps were heard.
