The Wheel Novels & Stories

“Hmm, it is sweet – I wonder how they do this.” “Don’t be too amazed. They simply heat the sugar and spin it unto this stick. They call this, candy floss .” Caelum stuffed the cloud delight on my hand and finished his popcorn, “There’s one ride we haven’t tried yet, come on!” He dragged me over the big wheel that is turning slowly, guiding me as we load inside the metal baskets. The big wheel ascends and I am mesmerized, “This ride is called a Ferris wheel.”

She deflected the subject, leaning her hip to the plateau while chewing on one of the donuts. -Yes, I have to leave before because Leo is crazy with the organization and if I ask him for something more capable that he collapses- he approached her. - It seems to me that you will have to look for a second right hand. The commotion is great - he bit another piece - When you return I want to show you something that I have been working on, it is a concept for the next product. His coachman responded. Malcolm oversaw the exchange and headed to the coachman "Sir, if I may, there is a junkyard just a few minutes walk from here, I remember seeing some wheels similar to the one that has cracked. If you like, I can go get one and help you replace the wheel so that you can be on your way."

It sent me flying backward - and a dozen people near me were knocked to the ground as well. I landed on top of the willowy blonde. I slapped at the crotch of my trousers, because they were hot, and smoking, and I thought they might burst into flame. Only then did I look up. The wheel was partly broken. It was tilted over, at an odd angle. But it had stopped ... on number 11. The corner of the table was gone, blown off when my rabbit's foot exploded.

"We should take your advice and do what you have suggested." Silence. Blackwheel reached out towards his glass of wine to have another sip. It was empty. He lowered it down and looked at the window. Outside, there was a young woman who was trying to tell her son who was about five years old to be careful at school. Her attitude was shocking not only to Blackwheel but also to her son who was chewing his middle finger in a way that made it look as if he was ignorant of the fact that his mother was giving him some instructions.

I heard the bus drive off. My heart ached, but I continued to wipe away my tears with more resolve this time. I had to fix this wheel. There was no point sitting here crying over a broken suitcase. I had to keep moving forward. So, I sat back down and aligned the wheel. But before I could put it in place, it slipped from my hand. I watched it roll away from me, towards the storm drain. “No,” I said, reaching for the wheel. But I was too late.

"We'll see about that girl! I accept you're challenge! you know one secret about riding the wheel is that it takes more of courage and mental strength than physical strength and muscles, and guess what that's the one thing i got that you don't “ Xyla said feeling pompous and conceited so that argument ended as they went towards the Arcade attendant to get their tickets. “Welcome to Eden Arcade Planet! Where would you like to explore today? The Ferris wheel of doom? The world of Mirrors? Or whack-a-mole for a fortune?" The attendant said “Yes! The ferris wheel of doom! what a scary name though, two tickets please!" Xyla said. “Don't worry I'll handle the bills"

the nurse said with a stressed expression as she rubbed both palms together. "You are wise but not thoughtful.. I would want to scratch my hand for more than a few seconds and you don't have to do anything to the wheel. Just hold it so that the wheel doesn't turn to the other side automatically due to the wind. That's all you have to do," Jazzy said, the sarcasm underneath was deep.

As there is an odd number, Kennedy offers to sit out the first round and rotate in the next. “I’m the only single in the condo. I will sit out,” I explain. The men agree, so they line the cups up in front of each of them on their sides of the table. “When you start, you go in order down the line on each side, chug the beverage in your glass, turn the empty cup over, then try to tip the cup over so that it stands upright before the next person goes. First team done wins,” I share. “Now, we need to decide on one drink everyone will chug,” I say.

She wanted to ride, so she would ride! The manager was flustered. Was this girl serious? Diana noticed his concern and smiled confidently, "Don't worry, I've been riding for a long time. Do you want me to show you a trick?" Without waiting for a response, Diana grabbed the handlebars of the motorcycle, revved the engine, and lifted the front wheel off the ground, performing a wheelie around the garage.
