But I was actually getting exhausted. All you do in psychotherapy is talk to people. For me, I would need to talk to Dr.Richards for hours. I have to answer and share with him all the things I wanted to say. He was not a boring psychiatrist. He actually has a lot of stories about him, Jayden, his patients and his wife. I love listening to his stories. I could sometimes sense his sadness and longing when he talks about his wife.

“I’d also recommend a great lawyer. Moss isn’t a complete idiot.” “Why would I need a therapist?” I asked. I don’t know what I’d talk about. I don’t remember it. It’s like it didn’t happen, right? Nate growled. “Trust me. I’ve seen enough women taken advantage of in Boston, that therapy is a need. Even if you don’t remember it, you’ll need a pro to help you to process. The ones who get it afterward do a shit ton better than the ones who don’t.”

She never skipped that story in any session. “I became a therapist to help people become who they want to be and not regret it. There’s no fun in rushing into adulthood. There’s nothing there.” I nodded slowly, hiding the uneasiness growing in my chest. It’s not like her story bored me. It just wasn’t what I needed right now, especially when my life was in danger.

She was kind and beautiful in a quiet way. She had warm brown eyes and a calm voice that made it easier to talk about things I never wanted to say out loud. She was patient too. Very patient. She never pushed when I got quiet, which I did most times as I felt ashamed, She only just waited.
