“It’s this.” Liv’s gaze dropped to the book, recognition flaring in her expression. “A hard copy of your first book! And what’s wrong with it?” “It was delivered to the mansion this morning,” I explained, my voice low, as if the very act of speaking it would summon whatever dark force was at play. “I don’t even know how they found it, but it feels… ominous.” Liv picked up the book, turning it over in her hands. “Who sent it?” “I have no idea,” I admitted, the knot in my stomach tightening. “There was no name, no return address, nothing. Just a note inside that said, ‘Some things never leave us, do they? Just like first love.’”

The third book, beginning. Not in a hurry. The best things never are.

I said. "I can't undo it. I can't take back what I said or how I made you feel. But I can tell you that it will never happen again. This is not because I've suddenly figured out how to be a good man, but because losing you once was enough to teach me that there are some things I'm not willing to live without."

His cane tapped softly against the marble. He stopped only a few feet away, his eyes searched my face, then my hands, then my feet, "What is this called?" My lips felt dry, "The Four Lives I Never Chose." He waited. I looked across the gardens, "The first girl grows up afraid of her own home. The second mistakes a cage for love," I swallowed, "The third finally finds someone worth loving... and never gets to keep him. And the last girl loses the only person who ever made her feel safe."

Hadn't I learned anything from Rishi, Raghav, and Siddarth? They all wanted one thing. A thing I despised and loathed with all my heart. Taking a deep breath, I circled my wrist. "I want to break up," I left the words out with difficulty, every part of me snapping as the clenching of my heart increased. "Bookworm," He spoke slowly. "It doesn't matter what I did. It was in past." "It does!" I shouted, facing him. "It explains everything! I thought you were different."

What happened yesterday night never leave my mind, I can't forget how his kisses ignited the desires of my soul. I shake my head as I feel my cheeks heated just by thinking of what happened. I sighed and look at the book I am reading. "I'll never let you complete me, you may be a part of me but you can't be the answer to the missing piece of me," I read the sentence out loud, I played with the pen I am holding as I grin at the thought of what is written in the book. I thought of something that has been missing inside of me, of myself but never in my mind thinks of someone who might fill in the pieces of me that have been missing for such a long time, not money nor power, love and desire coul

He said. "I wil survive just like how anybody else is! Do you think I need you?" I aksed him confidently. "Well then..., leave!" He motioned with his eyes for me to get out the door. I wasntnplanning on coming back even though i did not know anybody in this city or have any were else to go. As soon as I stood, he also stood up. I walked towards the door and as I opened it, he shut it in my face. "You're going no where! Dont ever embarrass me by thinking you can get away from me." He banged me against the concrete wall of the hotel room. "You are jothing but pathetic and im bvery glad you sister took her last breath on this earth. She will no longer be here to instigate you against me!"

He said with unreadable expressions. " No!! I would never allow anyone in my life. I would not allow another man in my life again. " I said. " Never say never... It usually happens what you never want to happen. As it is, never is a very strong word. You can never be sure about anything in the future. " He Said. I wish I could get you in my life... But it is not possible, so one else. " But I will make sure that there would never be another man in my life now. " I said.

And I never even thought I would find myself saying that! --------------
