Think Like Man Book Novels & Stories

Brothers C H A P T E R 8 R H Y K E R "I'm fucking bored!" Roman groaned in annoyance as I read the last chapter of my book, it's about the human brain and its behaviours. This book describes a lot about experiments on human beings, treating them as if they were guinea pigs. "Dude, what the fuck are you reading?" Roman asked me like someone who is always annoying, and I sighed deeply, throwing the book away at the wall, making him jump out of fright.

"You only think of looking for me now, it seems that I am not very powerful in your mind." "On the contrary, you're too powerful in my mind, that's why I'm afraid to look for you." His light green eyes sparkled, "So now you think I'm not so powerful that you dare to look for me?" "Stop teasing me, you should know my situation, I'm desperate." "Hahahahaha-" Madman suddenly laughed and put down his book, "I love to see people at the end of their rope." I sighed helplessly, this Madman is really hard to communicate, temperamental, thinking not at all like a normal person.

POV: Wolfy A book was a dangerous thing. A sword could cut you. A bullet could pierce you. But a book? A book could rewrite the software of your mind. It could change the parameters of your reality without firing a single shot. I sat in the corner of the barracks common room. The leather-bound volume heavy in my lap. Across from me, Neoma traced the letters on the page with a finger that still trembled slightly from the aftershocks of the Wastes.

I blink several times as I take out the book and see purple tentacles on the cover. I blink and flip through it. flip through it. Holy crap. This is not the last Slade Gray book. Things happen in this book that blow my mind. Things happen in this book that blow my mind. eight fucking dicks? I feel the floor drop out from under me when a thought occurs to me. thought. My fucking soul mate thinks I read this shit. There's only one, maybe two men brave enough to do this shit to me.

How wonderful he has these. But i wonder if he's watering them accurately? Or just a display here, useful until death. Meh. My feet led me next to his shelf, there are many books there, the sections were full. Oh i remember he's a man who believes in the credibility of a book, especially if it is written in a style that suits his taste. The law stuff, firm management, social studies, sales tax and any other business-related concepts. "I wonder..." I took out a single book in a hardbound, it has gold letterings in its cover that says the title: A Wise Tycoon.

had an idea. Or at least I thought I did. Because now that I’m thinking about it, it’s starting to feel so stupid. I’ve tried jealousy, I’ve tried seduction, I’ve tried everything in the goddamn book and still, this man—my perfect, fine, self-disciplined Mr Man—is holding on to his self-control like crazy ‎

He was circling it. I opened the book on telepathy that I had hidden beneath my cloak the night before. The pages smelled of old parchment and dust, the scent of secrets. I ran my fingers over the ink, tracing the ancient symbols that filled the margins. The book spoke of minds as doors, of thoughts as rivers that could be redirected or drowned. One passage caught my attention: “The stronger the will, the deeper the current. To enter such a mind is to risk being pulled under.” I thought of Edgar again. His mind would be like a fortress surrounded by fire. Impossible to penetrate, but tempting to try.

“You aren’t, Alpha Damon. You’ve been well informed. There are few questions I would like to engage you with if that’s ok with you.” “Go on,” I replied. “In all honesty, do you believe that brute strength can win against the power of the mind?” Everyone including Luke turned their gaze to me. It was obvious where this clever alpha was going with this question. “You asked me to be honest with you and that’s what I’ll be. I believe that brute strength would win against the mind anyday, anytime,” I stated my opinion. He nodded while rolling his eyes. “Have you read that book… uhm, what’s the title again? A wolf who could lead the world with only his mind.”

And as we ate, we watched one of Lucy's cartoons again. I'm starting to like these crazy animations. Lucy fell asleep and I took her to her bedroom. I headed back to Danica’s bedroom to check on her one more time. I leaned against the door seeing her knee-deep in the book she was reading. I took a peek at the cover to see what kept her so entranced, and I smiled when I saw it. Man into Woman, written by Lili Elbe and published posthumously in 1933. I watched her as she read the book.
