"I don't want to give you the wrong idea. I'm with Derek. That doesn't mean I'm kinda into Derek or that I'm thinking about being with Derek or that I'm unsure about Derek. I'm positive. I'm with Derek. And I'm loyal, Thomas. I'm either in or out. There's no in-between for me." I waited for him to respond, but he stayed silent. In the darkness, I watched the shadow of his arm lift as he rubbed his eyes. "I can't stand not hearing your voice, Casey. You already know I want you, but we don't have to be strangers if you don't want me. I'll settle for friends and leave you be. I just can't stand the silence between us anymore." Thomas's voice cracked. "I've lost everyone, and I need you in my li

They were hidden, waiting for the opportunity to burst forth. Great evil was coming. Three days later. Ten o’clock late at night. Thomas wore black clothes and carried a gun on his hip. Then, he walked out of the house, passed through the drizzle, and got into the car. He took a deep breath. Then, he started the engine and left. Inside the house, Emma was sitting on the couch. Although her eyes were fixed on the TV, her train of thought had long since followed Thomas. Thomas had told her that he was going out to meet an old friend, but he did not say who the old friend was.

The two men look at each other and just shrug their shoulders. “Like she said” Thomas says. The Ferris wheel takes us around and around, up, and down in a slow circle. From the highest peak I can see the scattered lights of the quiet little town below, surrounded by the dark forest, which stretches as far as the eyes can see. “What kind of business do you do?” I ask. Jason starts shifting in his seat, fidgeting with the keys in his hand. “We deliver packages” Thomas answers. “Oh, like a courier?” Lilliana says

They ran to the front and greeted Thomas warmly. Thomas was tempted to pinch their chubby little arms when he saw them. Unfortunately, he had just been washing vegetables and his hands were wet. "Oh, look who's here. It's my two little sweethearts! Have you missed me?" Thomas asked. Layla responded, "I've missed you, Great-grandpa." Lucas said, "Yes!" Thaddeus raised an eyebrow, realizing that Lucas' cool demeanor was reserved for him only. When it came to Thomas, the little one expressed his emotions in a straightforward manner.

It's sleek black with blue racing stripes, and the tires are massive. “This is awesome! Thanks, Mister.” Aiden rushes to hug him before dashing to the back of the bakery. I rise from my seat, arms crossed, trying not to feel envious. When was the last time I could afford to get them something nice? “I hope you don’t mind,” Thomas says, his arm brushing against mine. “I saw the toys and thought they'd enjoy them.”

"I'm going to find my mommy. Don't stop me or follow me, if not I'll feed you a dead rat. I really do have one! It was captured from the sewers." "Zion's words made Thomas feel sick, but he still said, ""Sir Zion, you really can't go. Mr. Ye would yell at me if you go."" " Then just pretend that you didn't see me. But I did see you. Thomas said helplessly. "Then, Zion turned around and walked in front of Thomas, before he stepped on his foot. " Ow! "Thomas was in pain and quickly bent down to hold his foot as Zion jumped up to grab a feather duster beside him. Then, he threw it at Thomas's head."

Both maybe? “Hey, you okay, space cadet?” Thomas chuckles, running his hand through his chestnut brown hair. “What? Oh, yeah! I’m fine,” Carl nervously laughs, snapping back into reality. Not now, dude. Focus! Carl thinks to himself, trying hard not to look at Thomas for fear of his anxiety showing. HONKKKKKKK! “Shit, that’s Orville! Dude, we better hustle! Get Dave and let’s go!” Thomas exclaims as he grabs his baby blue Drugs and Tears sweater from the couch and jets out the front door.

Piper watched him disappear down the hall toward Thomas’s office. She didn’t need to ask. The Stonebridges. Thomas emerged not long after, expression unreadable, papers in hand. He didn’t see her at first — or pretended not to. When he did, his steps slowed. “You’re back early,” he said. “I picked the boys up on time,” she replied. “Toby wouldn’t stop talking about his spelling test.” “Good.” He hesitated, then added, “The Stonebridges are back with trouble. Digging about you.”

Tara simply dismissed the topic. “Aunty Susan, where did you keep my iPads,” Thomas came in, he’s now grown and will be 10 years in three days time. Tara had been trying to get on his good side since he was the house’s favorite youngest cousin but Thomas cared less about her. “Look what I bring you, Thomas. A new iPad gadget…it’s the latest,” Tara chipped in tossing a new iPad to him. Thomas ignored, “I already got them last weekend,” He answered batting no eyelashes.

"Calm down, striker. We're all friends here." Thomas chuckled dryly, glaring at them. I felt nervous all of a sudden but then plain confused as the three then laughed and tackled each other. "Well how can I be calm when two nitwits are trying to steal Dahlberg away from me." I knit my brows, but not at what Thomas said, "Wait, you guys are friends?" "Of course we are. We're a team." Thomas smiled, placing an arm of either of the guys' shoulder, lifting himself up from there.
