Divorcing my dead sister’s husband

Divorcing my dead sister’s husband

"I think so. He's going to notice soon anyway. I've been sick every morning for a week." "Sam!" Thomas calls out. "Come here for a minute!" Sam swings across the monkey bar one more time before jogging over to us, slightly out of breath. "What's up?" "Your mom and I want to talk to you about something," Thomas says. Sam's face gets serious immediately. "Are you guys breaking up?" "No!" I say quickly. "Nothing like that. We have good news." "Are we getting a dog?" "Better than a dog," Thomas says.

Wetting The Bed Of My Best Friend's Brother

Wetting The Bed Of My Best Friend's Brother

Something that taught Thomas to push us away on purpose, to act out just so they’d be sent back to their dad? Thomas was different. A small, wondering smile kept playing on his lips. His eyes went huge when he saw Raymond’s car. Raymond had picked it on purpose, thinking the boys might be dazzled enough to start talking. And they were dazzled, I could feel it, but not a single sound escaped them. I saw the way Thomas quietly marveled at everything when he climbed inside, his head turning, a real smile finally breaking through on his sweet face. When Raymond started the engine, that deep, powerful growl shook the whole seat, and pure joy flashed in Thomas’s eyes. The kid was completely under

Blood Beneath the Cypress Knees

Blood Beneath the Cypress Knees

The next night by the fire outside stood Rio, Lucien, Claude, and Thomas. “I’m heading out to gather more recruits. We’ll need as many as we can get and I know some ol’ soldiers that owe me debts. So I’m off to collect,” Thomas said. “Be safe, brother!” Lucien said with a heavy voice. “Always!” Thomas picked up his bag and disappeared into the darkness. A little while later. The underground chamber off to the side of the camp was silent, except for the drip of water echoing off stone.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

He dropped it directly in front of him. Then barked. Once. Thomas looked down. Then smiled. "You want me to throw it?" Cookie barked again. Louder. Thomas picked up the stick without thinking. His fingers found the perfect balance. His arm moved naturally. The stick sailed high into the morning sky. Farther than anyone expected. Cookie exploded after it. Peanut clapped excitedly. "You throw good." Thomas laughed softly. "I guess I do." Then he frowned. Not because of the stick. Because...

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Chapter 27 Wes: It only took Thomas a few minutes to pick the lock of the door, as he talked lightly about the times they used to play in the sandbox building homes for toy trucks they'd named when they were younger. Reciting the times when he'd sneak cookies out of the porcelain bear cookie jar whenever Ella scraped her knees on the pavement after falling off her bicycle. It didn't take long for me to get pulled into the stories, distracted by the gentleness in his voice, the love he carried with each word as if he remembered every detail of the memories they had.

he said as he was fanning his shirt to get some air around his neck and torso, but his face was flushed and I became slightly worried for him. "Please, allow me to get you a drink before you head to your next delivery," I offered. He smiled at me genuinely "Oh well I thank you kindly, ma'am." "Come with me to the kitchen," I pointed the way "I was just making lunch for everybody when I heard your voice at the door, would you care for a sandwich for your travel?" Mr. Thomas traveled on his delivery route with a simple cart full of mail to go to each home that was rolled around by a horse. Most of the time he only had letters and some small parcels to deliver, not massive bouquets, being his a

Splintered Heart

Splintered Heart

My dog came running towards me as soon as he saw me. Thomas, who was a faithful servant of my parents. As soon as he saw me, he came to me happily. I asked him, "How are you, Thomas?" "I'm fine, Sir Harry," Thomas replied. I asked Thomas about Uncle and Aunty, where are they? Then he told me that Uncle James had gone to the office. And Aunt Ruby is in her room. Thomas told me that if he knew I was coming back. So he would come to the airport to pick me up.

Sometimes on the same day! ‘It’s all right for you, Bea,’ Thomas whined from several yards behind. ‘You don’t have to enrol at this thing.’ ‘I’ve heard they’ve got smart uniforms,’ Patience cajoled. ‘A little too blue for my taste, but I’m sure you’ll look great.’ ‘Uniforms?’ Thomas said speeding up a little. ‘Blue ones? Like in Thunderbirds?’ ‘If it makes you move any faster they’re exactly like Thunderbirds,’ Beatrice said .

He also recognized our old kindergarten friend. "Fucking shit! Thomas James Fisher? ...You're not a little shit any more!!!« He laughed and slapped Thomas. Thomas came up to me and we hugged. Has it been a long time since we last saw each other. Hard to believe. Thomas! My first kindergarten friend! ...And how big he's gotten and really pretty. Thomas had slightly longer brown hair and a smart smile. »Wow, how awesome it is to see you here! ...how are you? What are you doing here?” He looked at me and his eyes were shining with excitement.

Aegis Group Dangerous Ladies

His friend Orion had come from money and his tragic family story was more than enough to convince Max money didn't buy happiness. They drove for an hour like that. Stretches of silence were broken up by either Thomas' random outbursts of thought or more messages and calls that Thomas ignored. Their path didn't go into the city. Instead they wound down small roads that were likely only used by locals. "Here." Thomas thrust a worn, folded bandana at Max. "Pretend you're a bandit." Max frowned at him. "What?" In the back seat, the others were already shielding their faces. Sunglasses reflected what light their baseball caps let by.
