Ivy frowned deeply not wanting to think Emily’s husband was the same face that popped up in her mind. Emily shook her head slowly. “Thomas Raymond.” She said. “The same Thomas Raymond?” Ivy scrunched up her face as she stood up from the couch. “Yes the same Thomas Raymond we both know from your high school and college days.” Emily responded. “But..Emily why? Why Thomas of all men?!” She asked squeezing her forehead.

Samantha's body staggered, then fell lifeless in front of her husband and Emily. Thomas looked at his wife's body lying down, unable to hold back his sadness and anger. However, his strength was no match for the gamma, who beat him again until Thomas lay helpless. Blood flowed from his wounded body, and his eyes slowly weakened, but he remained focused on Emily, who was crying bitterly. With the last of his strength, Thomas tried to reach out, wanting to touch his daughter one last time. However, before he could say a word, his life ended there.

** Tommy’s P.O.V. ** We pulled up to the house in Valerian’s car and parked in the driveway. It was nostalgic to be back here and it caused me to really miss dad. Emily's POV I turn to face my brother who is standing by the entrance with a jug in his hand which he sets down on the counter.
