The Bet

The Bet

She had poisoned herself and it was not only the alcohol's fault, but also the constant stress and exhaustion that had been accumulating for a long time. As she passed by the bookshelves, she decided to take some book to read. She was delighted with Matthew's collection. There were all the books written by Clive Cussler, one of her favourite writers, as well as a lot of books by Michael Crichton and Duncan Falconer. What surprised her more was to see all of John Grishams' novels.

I'm really enjoying the story of Jo and her journey, the novel is so realistic and easy to relate to. I haven't had such a good read in a while, definitely looking forward to reading more on Jo's journey.

“Yes, please and thank you. Cream and sugar. When the coffee was on his table, he turned to me. - Thanks. - It was nothing. Good book? — Yes, I can't stop reading. He held it up so I could see the cover, which had a “dark night and stormy” of a running man. "Do you like suspense?" “Thriller and thriller, the occasional mystery. I pulled my bag from under the seat in front of me and grabbed one of the markers. from Damien. — So maybe you like this author. In these books, the adventures take place in Australia and it is a series with a police protagonist. There's a touch of the supernatural as well. He looked to either side of the marker, then nodded. - Thanks for the tip. I'll look later.

Mr. Great Kisser

Mr. Great Kisser

We were forced to sleep here, he said it would be unproductive if we went back to the city and the next morning to this place again. Inside the hotel, we discussed the author who according to Rama is one of the legendary authors of the company. "What are the criteria that made you call him legendary?" I asked curiously. "Hum..." he looked up at the roof, we were in the same bed and on each other's side. "One, he's so total, he can make his books feel like another world, he writes thrillers and can bring every scene to life, like when you read his work you're swept away. He can make us sympathize with his characters, make us antipathize, make us hate, and make us smile a little when something

Murderer

Murderer

These actions cannot be explained, Navpreet,’ said the inspector gloomily, casting an eye on the mountains. The sub-inspector gave a stiff nod and carefully studied the inspector who seemed to be lost in contemplation. ‘From what I have seen, murders are of two types,’ said the inspector, the tips of his fingers coming together. ‘First are the unplanned ones, committed by people who were suffocated in some way by the acts of the would-be victims. When they see an opportunity, their fear is eclipsed by the pain they have suffered and they strike.’

Claimed By Three: The Stalker, The Don and The Killer

“It’s not like my stories are bad. People just don’t… connect with them.” “Right,” Jenni says, rolling her eyes. “Because it’s the readers, not the fact that you’re all over the place. Comedy one day, dragons the next. And now, dark romance? Come on.” I frown, but she doesn’t let up. “You know what you need?” she says, setting her phone down and turning her full attention on me now. “Research. Real, gritty, get-your-hands-dirty research. You’re writing about stalkers, murderers, Mafia bosses, right? You can’t just pull that out of thin air.”
