NANA AISHA TALIB ALIERO. Two Years Later. . . She smiled looking at what she just drafted in the pile of poems she has written. She is insane about happy endings, mad about love stories, magnet for clichés and strong love for sadness. She doesn't have any problem writing poems just for her own happiness and daydreams. Mostly, Islamic poems about her religion. She also sites a lot about sad ones like she was once heartbroken even though she wasn't. She has been alone all her life and she likes it.

In that moment I realized that I actually love hearing him laugh. He leaned back in his chair, still smirking. “Then I guess it’s time we hydrate you.” My head snapped up. “Them,” I corrected, way too fast. “You mean hydrate them. The viewers. The audience. TikTokland.” His stare didn’t waver. “I said what I said.” That slow, confident tone wrapped around me like silk cuffs—and I hated how my stomach flipped over it. I tried to brush it off. “Well, then maybe we should put a water bottle emoji in the caption. You know, to really drive home the message that this content is… hydrating.”

Four from numbers I do not recognize, which is the kind of number I do not recognize that is the kind of number that is a number from a person who got my number from a person who knows a person, which is the way the entire world works when you are on TikTok. I open TikTok. The video has two point three million views. The caption says: Hospital romance gone public. The comments are still unhinged. The comments are the kind of comments that are going to be in my head for a long time, in the way that comments on a TikTok video are in the head of a person who is on the TikTok video.
