**POV: Aria** The lights came back on in under a minute. Later Aria would learn it had been a tripped circuit on the eastern generator, an accident caused by one of the catering staff knocking against the main power box. The scream from the tree line turned out to be a young pack girl who had been startled by the sudden darkness while walking back from the edge of the grounds. No threat. No attack. Just darkness and a frightened child and sixty seconds of chaos.

Black as the darkest night hair against a crisp linen pillow, brown skin against a blindingly white sheet, and tiger’s eyes burning with deliberate cruelty and triumph into hers. In horrified rejection of the imagery that had sprung into her mind, Lara Anderson shuddered violently, dimly aware that she was still in the grip of severe shock. Even in the darkness, the different shades made it look vibrant, like light was actually shining from it. He was wearing a white tunic, which stretched across his broad shoulders and protruding pecs, before it fell loosely around his middle, being tucked into his brown leather pants.

Mei held her head as a sudden wave of pain hit her. Hui closed in seeing her action, “Hey you alright?”. He met a face stained with blood and he could see a small trail of red making its way down from her forehead. Before he could act his eyes turned towards the beam of light that grew brighter.

I snapped out of it with her response saying If it would help you feel better sure I’ll go with you then came her next words I’m not sure I was ready for So who are you meeting up with she asked after taking a few moments I told her A guy I met while finishing my paperwork at school for next semester He says that he’s my mate I mean I felt it too but I’m still not going by myself I don’t know him we just met but the pull is so strong I just don’t know how to react and I’m shocked what I can’t believe you met your mate why are you just telling me this how long ago did you meet him I know he has to be handsome she says well we have been a little preoccupied I guess I will let you off this time

The mirror me shrieked and fell down, quickly scrambling onto his back as he looked towards Toru. "T-Toru! Please don't do this!" He begged him, backing up on his hands as Toru started to corner him against a tree. Toru's ears flicked and his little fox form leapt at me, crashing into my chest and tearing into my throat in anger, ripping it out and then started to tear at my chest with a snarl as my body fell limp against the tree, crying out in pain and terror as the light began to fade away from my eyes with every bit of blood that poured from my body.

But Darrion was nodding his head in agreement with a slightly serious expression, approving the details mentioned. But then a mist of faint green light floated in front of them on the table. It took everyone by surprise and they immediately shut themselves to observe the light. But then it disappeared as soon as it arrived. Naoki was tapped on the shoulder and he turned around to see who it was. “Oh, Torfo, hi!” he made sure to greet loudly for the others to hear. The others faked a cough and started to turn their attention to anything else but the new addition. “Hi… Uhm,” Torfo looked around in their table to see if there’s enough space for him to sit in far end near the wall, but nothing.

The next moment, her head snapped up and I saw something I’d never seen before. Tori’s eyes were bright red and a yellow light glowed under her hand that covered Tyler.
