“I feel like I’m in a movie,” I whispered.
“You are,” Ferris murmured. “Mine.”
We started with the essentials. Diapers, wipes, creams. Ferris picked everything with the serious focus of someone signing a peace treaty.
I, on the other hand, was… less serious.
“Oh! Look at this tiny robe!” I squealed, holding up a plush hooded towel with little bear ears. “We have to get it.”
“We’ve already gotten five towels,” Ferris said, juggling a basket in one arm and a baby monitor in the other.
