A blinding light covered his body so Dio had no choice but to close his eyes. After the light faded, Dio opened his eyes again and he couldn’t believe what was in front of him. “Are you my Blur?” “Isn’t it amazing? I never expected this either.” Blur smiled as he turned around.

He laid there, gasping for breath, his blue eyes now black. “l-lend m-m-me your p-power” he rattled, before digging a hand into my now black fur. His black eyes started to weep; thick, black liquid coursing down his cheeks. I moved to let him stand; the bullets from Slasher and her friend useless now that the darkness over my fur was protecting me. They could do nothing as we went to defend Torch. Trauma wrapped a hand around Torch’s burning, bleeding arm and seemed to absorb the power from it.

Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side. She was obviously young, probably fourteen or fifteen with red hair and a round hazel eyes which peered at me through the glass of the coffee shop.
