Mavis gritted her teeth as her thoughts darkened. As she made her way up the stairs, Mavis found herself staring at Eloise’s retreating form. The sight of her roommate stirred something volatile inside Mavis. Eloise’s limp seemed more pronounced today, and her demeanor was quieter than usual. She looked so small, so fragile. But to Mavis, she was a monster, someone who had no right to exist in the same space as her.

“Nancy, I’ll see you in a week!” Mavis breaks into a full sprint, her hair whipping in the air behind her as she races the long vehicle down to the chicken place, hoping the driver does not take note of her. Thankfully, she arrives within seconds of the car, breathing very hard and heavily. The driver stops right beside her and gets out. He gives her a simple once over, his eyes stopping the longest on her flaming red hair. “Mavis Port…?” She nods breathlessly. He opens the door for her to enter into the vehicle, no other words need to be exchanged.

With that, she made her way through the hole in the wire mesh fence and the both of them headed into the castle. They walked down a long hallway and into a laboratory. Noticing the advanced equipment inside, Larissa fell into deep thought. This place seemed to be regularly used. Could this be the residence of some mad scientist in the Twilight Group? Larissa held Vincent's hand as they began to search through room after room. Finally, they managed to find MAVIS in one of the rooms. The electric screen on MAVIS' chest displayed a blue screen. It continuously sounded out an alert, "Data error, waiting for reboot. 3, 2, 1 … reboot failed!"

They had to speak Romanian, right? Wait, Transylvania was in Romania, right? In the novel Count Dracula? Yeah, that was the case. I haven't read that book in years, but I remember the funky town name. Did that mean there were vampires in Romania? I mean, that'd be such a cliché, but were there? I've never met a vampire before. What if Xaveraq had connections with the vampires? He was keeping Callista with the werebears, did that mean he was keeping her in Romania with the vampires?
