Alessandro raised a brow, visibly taken aback. Nolan didn’t speak. He just stared at me like he was seeing me for the first time. I took a small step forward, ignoring the heat of his gaze. “Set a trap,” I said simply. “Let them come to you. They’re already too bold. Use it. Let them think that you are unaware of what they're planning. Allow them to come in, allow them to see that you are weak, and once that happens, you're going to be able to get what you want.”

Both men looked really sore with jealousy while the Boyle brothers listened to me attentively. But then something happened. Halfway through the presentation, the door opened and two men walked in. They hadn't looked at me yet and were now greeting the Sy brothers. One of them was slightly older, with salt and pepper hair and a lean physique, while the other one was really ugly. Except that he wasn't ugly and I was lying; because Stav Trajano was many things but ugly was not one of them. Yes, Stav Trajano, my ex-secretary, in all his flesh and glory, was standing in front of me.

“ Gentlemen, my apologies for being late, I can see Tristan has been taking care of you for me. I’m Willow Doyle, Manager of Organisational Design and lead for this project.” The blond takes my hand and shakes it and himself. He has a strong grip that keeps hold of my hand as he starts the introductions. “Ah…Please no apologies necessary. It’s a pleasure to meet you Willow, I’m Anders Reuel, CTO of Blaidd Tech, this is our CEO Zale Ryker.”

Redhead introduced, nodding towards the brunette. "And I know you are the infamous Trevor Saint Williamson," Tricia added with a giggle. Trevor grinned as she emphasised his name. He wasn't surprised she had recognised him right away. Most people knew who he was due to him being constantly in the media, whilst only a few knew he was the owner of the clubhouse. "It's a pleasure to be finally this close to you." Tricia grinned, then nudged Lauren, who was staring at the dancefloor. Lauren flashed Trevor a smile, then whispered in Tricia's ear, "I think this is your time to get close to him. You have wanted to do this for a while now."
