“But I’ve got to say, you look incredible tonight, Isabella.”
“Thanks, Trent,” I said quickly, glancing toward the house to see if anyone else was coming outside.
But Trent wasn’t done. He stepped closer again, his smile unwavering.
“I could be much better for you than Logan.”
My first instinct was to laugh it off.
I tilted my head, genuinely confused. “What are you talking about, Trent?” I asked, trying to keep the irritation from creeping into my voice.
Trent leaned in just a little closer, his eyes holding mine with an intensity I wasn’t quite sure I was comfortable with. “I know what's going on between you and Logan."
