“Someone’s grumpy.” “I’m frustrated,” Trixie fires back. “And before you ask—no, it’s not that time of the month. It’s the ‘I-just-want-to-find-my-mate-before-I-burst’ time.” Parker gives her a sideways glance. “That a medical diagnosis now?” Trixie glares at him. “Don’t tease me, Parker. I’m serious.” She pushes up from her chair with a huff. “My birthday is in two weeks —August 21. I’m throwing a party. I expect presents. Sparkly ones. And maybe—maybe—if the Moon Goddess doesn’t hate me, I’ll find my mate.”

A large window at one end of the room bathed everything in the soft, golden light of the setting sun, while ornate chandeliers hung overhead. Mara, Alpha Jake, Troy, Jay, Elizabeth, Jasmine and Elvie sat around the polished wooden table. Their expressions were a mixture of confusion and concern. Mara, the future Luna of the Silver Moon Pack, was known for her strong and confident demeanor. Still, on this occasion, her brow furrowed as she gazed at Elvie, who appeared distant and vacant.

I pulled him away from the spot he was rooted to, I wanted him to continue the dance. "No. The Luna of the Pack is a crazy being, crazily powerful. She is the only one you will need to face and I trust that you will not allow her to sabotage the mission. I trust you." As he concluded his words, he walked me back to the thrones and we took our seats. "You don't have to worry about anything else, I will deliver Crescent Moon Pack to you," I said teasingly and touched his nose tip as a smirk crossed his face.

Azalea's POV Every full moon night, something strange happens. I don't know exactly what happened last night. But as I washed my hair in the sink this morning, I could vividly recall my dream last night, when I "wolfed-out" and ran through the streets of Brooklyn. The moonlight illuminated my path, made everything enveloped in silver light, and I was completely happy. I haven't been that happy in a long time. The thing is, I'm not a wolf. I'm an ordinary human... right? And werewolves don't exist... right?

I look at myself in the mirror carefully and I can't believe that the image I see is mine. Lily made a daily schedule of changing my wardrobe which contained neither more nor less than 2 pairs of leggings and 3 T-shirts. Everyone in the Crescent Moon pack knows that in the next period we will claim that I am their future luna but the culmination is that no one has anything against it. On the contrary, they seem terribly pleased with this possibility. What's wrong with these people? It's a funny game, I can't deny it. I was born to be a luna , but not to this pack. Fate makes me the lead actor in Crescent Moon, but that's it only acting. Dominic helped me and it's my turn to support him.

I screamed, begging for Brax to take away my pain. Brax's eyes filled with worry as he studied me as he tried to think of a way to help me. Slowly picking me up, he started towards the door. "Where are you taking her?" my mum asked. "It's a full moon. The moonlight will help take away some of the pain", Brax answered as he rushed me out of the room and into the backyard. He laid me down on the grass, letting the moonlight shine down on me as he held my hand tightly.

× Dixie × I smile. Trix leans forward. “I get that. But you don’t have to give up your dreams just because things got complicated. You’re stronger than you think, and honestly? If anyone can juggle being Luna and killing it in the fashion world, it’s you.” I look down, chewing on the inside of my cheek again. “You really think so?” He smiles slightly, nodding. “Yeah. I do.” For a moment, I don’t know what to say.

Liam looks thoughtful before he nods and asks me what I would like to know. "Everything, I guess." I replied, the warmth of his hand slowly creeping up my arm. "Hi, my name is Liam, I'm twenty-eight and I'm from the Dark Moon Pack. I love dancing in the rain and long walks at sunset." He says cheesily, sounding like the bio off some lame dating site. "On a serious note, I'm pretty much your average guy. Oldest of three kids, grew up with a ton of responsibilities so I guess that's why my sense of humour is a bit bent. I enjoy tracking and I'm bloody good at it if I might brag. I tried to track you down after that Council Meeting, but you move quickly and I thought I'd never catch up… turns

And now also a bomb-ass mother. Tri-Moon is still healing. There is a lot of pain to unpack and loss to work through. It's been a huge few years for the once ‘secret’ pack. They are now the head of Were-kind, home to the leaders of an entire species, and the ground zero of the Moon Goddess’ prophecy. Tri-Moon is a celebrity in its own right. I rocked myself on the porch swing as I recounted all my favourite memories. Some bad, some good, but all of them are mine.
