Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

Tilla considered the message briefly, before setting aside the page. Confounded by the instructions, curiosity goaded her to search the disheveled ball of fabric beside her for more clues. Unfurling the soft cloth enough to identify it as a cloak. Tilla was mildly disappointed to find that the garment offered few answers, other than what appeared to be very large, very stale scones, which had been wedged into the cloak’s pockets. These objects, only aggravating the wrinkle of confusion that had formed upon her brow further, Tilla peered blanked into the dimly lit hall.

Magnus: Dragon Prince

Rex added, and when Ley replied with a nod, he left the crowd, taking his place in front of the crate with his name on the lid, Ley stopping a few feet behind him. It did not take Rex long to realise there was six crates, he knew about five competitors, including himself, ‘Who is the sixth?’ he thought to himself, craning his neck to try and see whose name was on the crate, but due to its position to where Rex was standing, right in the middle, it was too difficult to see past the troll’s body, it was currently looking at the crate, its face had confusion written all over it, an occasional drip of saliva coming from its mouth, landing on the lid. “Please miss Lacey, take your place near your

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Very good world building, intriguing story, and decent characters. I'll be honest, I was just glad to find something on this app that wasn't smut. can't wait for more chapters, I've become very attached to the storyline and want to explore the world more.

The seer fired back making everyone laugh. “Trolls are not violent dear seer, they are the same as your kind, they are not violent, but it doesn’t mean that there won’t be any rotten potatoes in a sack. Like you.” The troll elder fired back as well but before the seer could say anything else Tia chanted a spell and sealed his mouth. “You should have done that a long time ago.” The troll elder said to Tia.

Turning the Tables

Turning the Tables

I frowned and said, "Do you see this? Do you see what a conniving woman she is?" Patrick looked at me, clearly in doubt. I feigned anger and threw the phone into his lap. "I can handle whatever nasty things she's trying to pull off, but I won't deal with people slandering me! You're such a jerk, Patrick!" I flushed with anger, appearing livid. When Patrick saw that, he quickly hugged me. "Honey, I was wrong! This is all because of me. I promise this will never happen again!" After that day, we negotiated with Lucille for another three days. She threatened to expose Patrick, so I got him to keep her under control by acknowledging the baby.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

This was what the trolls were good at and I was happy to go along with their plan. “If things go south,” I said, “I’m sure the trolls will take care of it.” “So am I,” said Claire. “That’s what worries me.” I felt Claire’s concern for our fellow Visitors was unwarranted. It was obvious the trolls wanted to avoid any confrontation and even took pride in their ability to walk among their enemies undetected. And it wasn’t just their faces they could transform. They had also changed their merchant clothes into military uniforms, by turning them inside out. They had reversible clothing, uniforms on one side, normal clothes on the other. Proper spy stuff.

Turning the Tables

Turning the Tables

Taylor, determined to strip me down to my last penny, squared her shoulders and began shaking the dice cup again. She even stood up, planted one foot on the table, closed her eyes, muttering some words while her hands flailed around. “Open!” We all looked at her dice cup. Three sixes and two fives—twenty-eight points! In all the previous rounds, no matter how I rolled, my highest was twenty-two. Even so, Taylor put on a fake disappointed face. “Oh no, only three sixes? I clearly asked the spirits for five. Looks like this time I’m going to lose.”

Enchanting the Prince

Enchanting the Prince

It takes me another hour to get to her and when I arrive, I stop, not truly understanding what I’m seeing. Lorelai must have sent fifty of her soldiers, and by the look of them, they are her best. And there, in the center of the fight, is Lily. Beside her is a huge, black wolf that I don’t recognize. But what is most shocking is the trolls. There are two trolls who are swinging what must be trees but look like clubs in their hands, taking out Lorelai’s soldiers.

2nd story in the "next generation" of The Guardian series. This one takes a more fantasy twist but totally works. I was enthralled all the way to the epilogues which had me crying yet again. This author updates regularly & always concludes her stories. No worries about abandoned books with her.

Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

"Carrie Stewart, I've wanted to meet you for a long time. And I am not disappointed." I stared back at the king, he sat in his slimy throne, looking back at us with huge pop-out eyes. Trolls, I decided were some of the ugliest creatures ever. They were covered in green leathery skin, which strangely, had an uneven clumpy layer of slime on its surface. His ballooning stomach squished a little as he slouched, and his oddly skinny ankles spread out into webbed froggy feet. When the king breathed, it sounded laboured, almost asthmatic.

In His Hell

In His Hell

They all stand up as soon as they saw Neev and Aarohi. “sir everything is here that you have ordered. Let us know if you need anything else in the future.” One of them said after greeting both of them. Neev just nodded his head and all of them went out. Aarohi’s furrowed eyes widen when she saw 7 trollies lined up with at least 20 dresses in them. There was a lot of more intimate products like bras, panties, bikini set, nigh suits and so on. “shift all these in her room.” Neev said to one of the male worker in a dismissive tone making Aarohi’s eyes snapped at him.

Wolf Moon

says Graydon with a smile. "Oh no," I say as I start to see where he's going with this. Trolls are walking, talking, twelve feet tall stink bombs. Most of the time they are just smelly. But when they feel threatened or angry or upset or annoyed or even just a little bored, they can let off a stink that will knock everyting within 100 metres flat. "Yes exactly," says Graydon. "Not quite a smoke bomb. Troll bomb." The others suck in their breath. "That's harsh," says the blue-haired guy but he's nodding approvingly.
