First, the guards and, later, the Costello couple exited the car.
“Mr. Costello. I am surprised you came with your guards; don’t you trust me?” Capo limped and hugged Decker with warmth and attention.
“Capo,” Decker smirked and shook his hand first, covering his daughter and wife, Adele.
“I trust no one except my family,” his blunt answer cutting the edges between the two.
“Then you should because you never know; we may become family,” Capo teased and moved close to Adele.
“Mrs. Costello,” Capo greeted her with a bouquet. Ramona stood by his side, greeted them both, and there Adele and Decker exchanged a glance, watching a young woman standing by Capo’s side.
