Disguising an execution as a fighting tournament gave a lot of prisoners false hope, thinking they could fight their way to freedom. Mark was one of many. Out of all the deaths, Mark’s death was the cleanest. After executing Mark, 2Pac recorded the decapitation and stored it in his memory cloud database. He kept other recordings of sinister executions in his database.

He bowed and in a few minutes time, he led Luca up all the way. “If you don’t have something positive this time, request for the type of casket you want to be buried in cause I’m sick of your failures.” I warned, without turning to face Luca whose presence I felt so strongly. I took another sip from my shot and waited for Luca’s response. “Well, we were able to get the autopsy result which stated that they died of poisoning.” From my side view, I watched Luca pass me a file and I turned to snatch it from him. “Some scratches were found in the cadavers which seem to have been deliberately inscribed by jade whose body it was on.” Luca continued as I was busy observing the autopsy scan report.

I was about to drop it when it began ringing again, I brought it close to check who the caller was. It was Gale. I answered, “Hello,” my voice was urgent. “Dad’s autopsy report is out. You might wanna come take a look at it,” his voice was solemn and I could tell he’s been crying for a long time. “What does it say?” I asked, because his words hinted at a different result from what we presumed. “It was conducted twice. And the results were he died to a depressed respiration, cardiovascular effects and neurological symptoms. Though presence of gelsemine was detected in his blood,” he explained and I repressed the urge to elicit a groan.

Ava I stood beside Chris, both of us leaning over Dedrick’s lifeless body in the morgue. The harsh fluorescent lights cast an eerie glow over his pale skin, making him look even more ghostly than he already was. The sterile smell of disinfectant mixed with the underlying scent of death, making my stomach churn. “From what I’ve gathered from the autopsy,” the medical examiner said, glancing at his clipboard, “he took a lethal dose of moonbite powder in pill form.”

“And how are you so sure of your theories? He asked. “He’s sure because he is a doctor, and there is something called an autopsy.” Chad retorted with sarcasm dripping in his voice. “So what am I to do with this information?” I asked the doctor quietly. As much as the information was vital, I still didn’t see a need for it. Sophia was dead and gone, Gilbert too. There was no evidence whatsoever to connect their deaths, not even a living witness. “It’s of importance because it is the same kind of plant juice that was used in creating the poison used to murder your parents.” Dr. Patrick said.

By the time he was taken to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival. Mr Burke and some of his business associates were present at the meeting. It was no coincidence that after the meeting, Mr Gonzales died. An autopsy was carried out and his death was ruled as death by natural causes which was a lie. Mr Burke had somehow manipulated the autopsy results and he had gotten away with it just like he always did. I felt sorry for Zac, no one deserved to be put through such torture from a young age. "Well, perhaps the autopsy hasn't been performed yet." Avery turned to face her. "I think they have. Before you bury someone, an autopsy is performed. Since they already buried your father, I assume they performed the autopsy." She focused back on the computer and checked the date after his death was confirmed. "Found it!" she said immediately. Scarlett ran to her and looked at the computer. "I suppose they conducted the test the day after they took him to the hospital." She clicked on the report that stated. "Autopsy of Mr. O'Hara."

I replied to him. He hesitated, then he started to type. “So, the official report said coronary failure. They said it was sudden and natural. But I was there when they brought the body in. I saw the autopsy notes before they were sealed.” I read the messages very fast, my heart thudding loudly as I clutched my phone like it was going to fall. “What did the autopsy say?” “There were traces of poison in his blood; it targeted his heart immediately, which led to a heart failure.
