My Unwanted Lycan Mate

My Unwanted Lycan Mate

“I have received the remaining harmony from him and also cleared off my debts. I drop at his feet, no one can save me even if I scream and yell for help. I crawled back to my room waiting for my extinction. AN This is the first chapter of the book, please, don't judge me on my English, people make mistakes. Correct me with love and I will be thankful. Thank you for giving this book a chance, and please — do drop your comments.

single" someone can really tell you anything. I mean, they can but they can expect to die. Try to remember that in the future. Your cultivation will bring your aggression more if you let it." Four nodded and took the words in for understanding. "Umu I do not know. I can feel a part of me wanting to come out. A voice beckoning me to do so. I like it but I am also afraid. The Cultivation Manual you gave me, "Quiet Titan" seems to complex for me." Thinking bout the different intricacies of it made his head spin most days. Even when he failed to understand, he felt his mind turn sharper. Thoughts turn clearer. "The Bull manual from the Lan clan is easier."

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

The Ghostwriter looked up at the white line high above, smiling sadly. “I didn’t write the title of Chapter 100,” he said. “Nobody did. The Author left it blank on purpose. She said only the characters could decide what the final page is called.” Suddenly, the giant Eye swung its red light toward the book. “Found you,” the machine voice hissed. The book started burning at the edges. “Listen!” the Ghostwriter yelled over the crackling flames. “I can send you to the 100th chapter now. But there’s a catch. To get there, you have to skip Chapters 61 to 99.”

How the Tables Turn

How the Tables Turn

She couldn’t not. The professor droned on about narrative structures, pacing, and unreliable narrators. Amelia sat near the middle, scribbling notes half out of obligation, half because it kept her awake. She shifted in her seat, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. That was when she saw him. Micah sat three rows back, angled slightly toward her. He wasn’t smiling. He wasn’t even looking directly at her anymore — not after the first glance. But she caught the flicker of his gaze when her hand lifted. The second his pencil moved across his notebook.

Second Chance Luna

Second Chance Luna

The title page and table of contents looks normal, but I keep flipping pages to get to chapter one. Two more pages and I’m staring at the first chapter, titled “Finding a Companion.” I almost missed the title completely because my eyes were drawn to the center of the page where there was a rectangular shaped wooden box. All the pages had been cut through the center to fit this box inside, and there was something carved into the box. It was an image of the compass rose and the words “You’re My True North.” I glance back up to the first sentence of the chapter and it reads, “When preparing for an adventure, the first, and possibly most important, decision is who you will choose as your comp

This story is a fun and refreshing take on the werewolf genre. The writing and the character development are on point! Anja is a very talented writer and I can’t wait to devour whatever she writes next.

As the author states, the beginning is slow (nothing wrong with that!), but things build. I found the book to be an enjoyable and fairly quick read. It flows nicely into the second book without leaving you hanging. ... ... ... ...

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

Tales of a Shifter (P1) - Meeting

Chapter 30 The panic that tried to grip him in that moment was so sudden and so unwanted that Ezekiel shoved the grip it tried to take on him away instantly. But even as he turned away from panic...he knew that he had to act quickly. Ezekiel snarled and turned on his heel and went to pull the door open and alert his family until something across the room smashed into the ground and the sound of desperate scrambling filled the air. And then two seconds later all sound ceased.

When the house fell silent

When the house fell silent

The first chapter sets the tone: Tshepo’s secret gambling problem begins to intertwine with family tensions, creating ripples that will affect everyone. Chapter 1 – Tshepo’s Gamble (Expanded) Tshepo sat at the edge of the small table in his apartment, the weight of another week’s losses pressing down on him. The cards lay scattered, remnants of the late-night gambling sessions he’d promised himself would end “just this once.” The numbers on the receipt from the betting shop seemed to mock him: debts he couldn’t ignore, lies he couldn’t untangle, and a future that felt increasingly unstable.

To Turn To You

To Turn To You

He hauled his look down to the book in her lap and appeared to be peculiarly frantic to make discussion. "What are you perusing?" His sharp eyes focused on the title before he raised his look to hers in dismay. “Dogs?” He sounded so insultingly confounded that she embraced the book protectively to her chest. "I end up enjoying canines," she said furiously and his peculiarly delicate look cleared over her tight highlights prior to coming to lay on the book she had held to her chest. He inclined forward and expanded his right hand palm up. “May I?” He kept his look consistent until she hesitantly let up on the stranglehold she had on the book and given it over to him.

There's No Turning Back

There's No Turning Back

" Sitting across from Theodore, Charles Chapman turned beet red, looking like he wanted to sink into his chair. Theodore then shifted his attention to the junior associate sitting beside Charles. "Your skill at organizing files is impressive—almost like a jester juggling their balls. It's so entertaining, it made me laugh out loud." The junior associate looked like she was about to burst into tears. Theodore leaned back casually, adding, "Go ahead and finish sorting the remaining documents. That way, you can reorganize them all over again." Just then, Theodore's phone buzzed. Glancing at the screen, he saw an unfamiliar string of numbers. He didn't think much of it at first, but something cl

I'm not gonna lie. This story does have skippable parts (I skipped the first 60 or so chapters and still figured stuff out fine. I also skip the child heavy chapters that don't include Harvey/Niamh). But this story really gets hilarious around chapter 280ish. Like the unhinged shit starts happening

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Chapter 50: Halfway to Becoming Whole Sophia stared at the top of the document, her fingers hovering over the keys like they were waiting for her to finally make peace with herself. The cursor blinked, as patient as ever, underneath a title that had taken her a full week to type: Chapter 10: The Day the Mirror Told the Truth.
