His hold on my wrist was so tight, but even after I cried out and yelled for him to stop, he didn't react to me, he kept on walking, pulling me along with him but something I noticed was that each passing seconds, Marcus leaked pheromones get thicker and even my heart and body are getting confused by it, and I could feel my self slipping into a daze, but..

His hands are pressed against his stomach, dark blood leaking through his fingers and staining the snow that has drifted in through a ventilation shaft above. "It’s not dead," Marcus whispers, his teeth stained pink. He looks up at me, his eyes wide and completely vacant. The purple tracks on his arms are darker now, almost black under the skin. His pupils are dilating, swallowing the gray of his eyes until they look like two holes in a sheet of white paper.
