Shannon POV I could feel my anger rising, my heart beating hard, my feet trembling, my head flaming and I gnashed my teeth. I could feel my anger rising so badly that I had to clutch my hands to control my rising anger. "I am the one that is worth this position, not her and I can't allow her to have it." I growled in my head. My twin sister, Sharon, was about to be crowned the ambassador of the Blue Moon pack. I had always craved this position but she just came from nowhere and snatched it away from me just like that.

Soon enough, she found herself inside as she sat on a stool. “What can I get you?” the bartender asked. “Something strong,” she said. “Something that will make me forget.” The bartender gave her a look of concern but poured her a glass of liquor, which she drank in one gulp. “Another,” she said. And another. And another. The world began to blur. The pain began to fade, just a little. She made a promise to herself right there and then. “I will get everything back,” she whispered. “I will make them pay for what they did.”

My arms wrapped around his neck, my fingers threading through his hair as I arched beneath him. His mouth left mine and traveled along my cheek, down to my neck. His lips were warm, his breath even warmer. When he began pressing soft kisses at the base of my neck, adding gentle bites between, my back arched into him involuntarily. Each kiss sent a tremble through me. I was trembling and wanting more.

It was razor-sharp indeed. The man roared and charged at me again, but I stayed calm this time. I had already cut his artery, so he would bleed out soon. All I had to do was keep away from him so that he couldn't drag me down with him. Rain started pouring as he stumbled around the rooftop like a headless chicken, desperate to find me, but he was only losing blood faster. He quickly collapsed, the rain mixing with his blood until the whole rooftop smelled faintly of blood. Or maybe it was just the salty sea breeze.

Trish asked in a small, unsure voice. "Get in," one of the men growled. She shot me a terrified glance before disappearing into the hole. I went down next, dropping into the pungent darkness. There were puddles of water at my feet and the smell made me feel like I couldn't breathe. I realized it was a sewer. My arm was gripped and we were led down for several minutes until we came to the end of the dark tunnel. The man holding Trish kicked the grating away and we climbed out into a dark street.

I scoped the area to only see the two girls, I didn't know what the fuck their names were but I knew they were twins and I knew they were friends with her. As they walked past me, I stopped them. "Where's Isabella?" I asked, watching as they looked at each other before they looked at me. "We don't know" they both said in unison. This was some twin telepathy shit and I didn't fuck with that. "I'm pretty sure you do. Where the fuck is she?" I asked once again feeling even more angry. I hated repeating myself. "She just left. Don't bother looking for her." One of them said before they walked away.

I bet he was the one being auctioned yet his aura still gave off dominance despite his hands being handcuffed. “We’re just on time. That’s him,” Kyle whispered. Huh? Putting aside the fact that he was tall and physically fit, he was not as scary as I expected him to be. Was it just me stereotyping? I mean… Since Kyle mentioned that Xavier Hawthorn was a mercenary, I expected that he would scare me the first time I set my eyes on him.

His face was close to mine, ready to kiss me but instead, he reached down wrapping an arm around my side and picking me up over his shoulder. I let out a small screech, the dock moving underneath us as a wave pushed the dock back a bit. "Kol!" I whine, but he keeps a hold of me tightly, stepping into the boat. As his feet hit the boat floor a wave from a passing boat pushes a gush of water our way, making Kol sway backward and lose his balance, and fall forward, taking me with him. We both hit the floor of the boat, instantly becoming tangled in each other. His wavy hair is all messed up as he stares down at me. I reached up, pushing his hair away from his face.

I followed him to where he went, he was sitting on a swing and pushed himself to move the swing a few seconds he stopped and spoke something but I could not figure out what is it. “Jiji, don’t you remember?” he asks. “Jiji? Is that a name or what? Besides, I remember nothing aside from my name” “Never mind let’s go I’m showing a place,” he said but his voice is full of sadness. All I could do is to follow him to where we are going, every view that caught my attention is amazing. The Montromey Kingdom is considered as the lost paradise everyone in the world would like to see and explore. As I followed him we reached a wide waterfall. The waterfall is very clean and the water flows with each g
