Game over.

Game over.

Then the picture clears, and the lie I have been telling myself dies instantly. Madeline stands in the middle of the bar, not surrounded the way I ordered, not afraid, but calm, terrifyingly calm. She looks relaxed, and at her feet lie my men, scattered. The bar is empty now, chairs overturned, and glasses shattered, and she looks like a queen standing in the middle of the victorious battleground. For a moment, my mind refuses to accept it. This is not how it was supposed to go. I had the backup plan all along. I knew Madeline would come with Logan as she would not allow him to fight this battle alone. My plans are shattered. My chest tightens as my brain races backward through every decisi

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

The Luna Reborn: Surviving As The FL In A Werewolf Romance

"And don't even get me started on the repetition. My side characters—the guards, the villagers—they started looping their dialogue because your brain was sucking up all the processing power. They were becoming shadows of themselves because you wouldn't just focus on the plot." "I wasn't trying to break them!" I argued. "And yet, you did. And that light?" She pointed at the image of the clearing where I had decimated the pack. "That 'power' you developed out of thin air? That wasn't a gift. That was a localized system crash. You were leaking 'main character' energy so fast it manifested as a physical explosion. It wasn't supposed to be part of the magic system, but you forced it into existenc

My Foreign Husband

My Foreign Husband

His role was to be the good guy in the story, however, I was happy to be the villain, as long as I could have that vision again. He only fell because he underestimated me. He didn't think I was going to react. And I was too busy smiling and pretending that nothing was happening. That I was sorry for not being able to avoid my kidnapping... Those who came together to raise it would never know that this was not the original version. They would never worry about knowing, and it would take me a long time to understand that I didn't care if they didn't know. Because I knew it and that was enough. "I see you in hell," I spit to Jonathan, in front of enough witnesses to blame me for anything that w

The Understimated Heir

The Understimated Heir

The yelling from Clara recently had increased tenfold, and it had always baffled Bobby that Ethan had suddenly gone mute these couple of days when she screamed in his face, and he had been meaning to ask Ethan why he was just allowing her to walk all over him, but he had always chickened out. But right now, he couldn't stop himself when these words escaped his lips, “Where is that bold Ethan from days ago? ... Why do you let them say anything to your face now?” “Because the easier it is for them to look down on you, the more they underestimate you, and that's a power that makes you able to blindside them. And if my father has taught me one thing, it's that being underestimated and weak makes

Am equally enjoying this one as well. Please do well to make Ethan and Nina compliment each other with their strengths. Am tired of reading a rich male lead having to salvage every problem! Nina has a Masters and I suggest this comes in handy at a point in time of this novel

The Doted Lady is Fuking Wild

The Doted Lady is Fuking Wild

' Ho Choi asked rightfully, don't think this has what problem. 'no,no.' 'What is the IQ of your screenwriter? The protagonist doesn't believe undercover's words. Fortunately, he is the protagonist, otherwise he won't live to the end.' Kristen Oliver recognized the meaning of his words and only said, 'Didn't you watch bullet screen? The audience is voicing that the undercover has a low IQ. How can the protagonist believe him if he makes a roundabout remark? ' Ho Choi eyebrows, meaningfully said 1. 'So, if the protagonist is smarter, he won't suffer so much.'

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

Realization dawned on Leon. After the conflict with Mister Umair, the Scammells all thought that he was weak as a martial artist and they all underestimated him since then, which would play to Leon's advantage. Underestimating one's enemy could often be deadly and if Leon could take advantage of that, he might be able to rescue Ruth and Cynthia from Nigel.

Every1 listen up! If they keep posting only 1 chapter a day, we shud simply stop reading. It is quite disorienting. Waiting a couple of weeks will solve 2 problems. 1) Enough chapters to keep it engaging. 2) More importantly, hurt their pockets. It could lead them to change this pathetic behaviour.

ive read up to 472 chapters but ive lost my phone 3 times so i keep having to start again from the beginning. Doll Crimes

Doll Crimes

Crystal Lake Publishing
14 There’s nothing special about Susie, no matter what he wants to think. There’s nothing unique about his house, his lifestyle, his stupid Star Wars jokes. Every time, every single one of them, they start to think they’re ahead of us. Some in small ways, some enough to make them think they’re untouchable—as the owner of our current beds, the master of our daily comforts. This isn’t always bad. Being underestimated only gives us more gaps. But if it is bad, it means things are about to shift over. That kind of change, it can’t always be stopped.

DARK OBSESSION

DARK OBSESSION

He said and Eden raised his face up to look at him "You didn't defeat Galina by luck. You didn't defeat her because you were more powerful and stronger, no, you were able to defeat her because she underrated you. She underestimated your strength and she let her guard down" He said with a smile and Eden became curious "Yes. She let her guard down because she underrated your strength. She failed to see behind the ordinary teenage boy. She failed to see the strength of an ordinary teenage boy who would go through any length to survive" He said and chuckled.

Brotherzoned: My Bestfriend’s Brother

“Or bait. Or collateral damage someone was willing to accept.” My jaw tightens. “She didn’t know what she was walking into.” “They never do.” I shift slightly, pain lancing through my shoulder. I welcome it. Pain keeps me anchored. “Someone underestimated me,” I say quietly. Orlando studies me for a long moment. “Yes,” he agrees. “They did.” That’s when I know. This isn’t about warning shots or power plays meant to scare. This is about miscalculation. And people pay for that. “Celeste,” Orlando says casually, as if testing the name.

Transmigrated as the Alpha's Cannon Fodder.

Transmigrated as the Alpha's Cannon Fodder.

was Zhan. He hadn't adapted the novel. He had simply taken the archetypes from his own life and placed them into a new, fictional story. He was still the powerful male lead. She was still the brilliant female protagonist. And I... I was still the third wheel, the disposable character whose only purpose was to create conflict and then die. He hadn't changed my fate at all. He'd just given it a bigger budget and a better script. This was his game. He was going to make me play out my cannon- fodder destiny on a grand stage, for his own amusement.

it's actually so funny how he reincarnated as the character he dreaded the most .... like I'm sure that hurt his ego so much. I love the dynamic between him and the alpha. I just wonder how it'll shift once he figures out the truth

This book is an absolute gem! Transmigrating as Zhan, the despised cannon fodder Omega he once hated, dodging Huo Yan’s wrath, and stealing his obsessive attention had me hooked from chapter 1. Hilarious, steamy, and full of clever twists, You nailed the survival-to-seduction arc! Can’t stop reading
