Moonlight Knows My Name

Moonlight Knows My Name

Malik’s POV The thing I was learning about grief was that it doesn’t come quietly, it doesn’t sit with you and wait until you’re strong enough to feel it, it just storms in, overturns everything you thought you understood about yourself and then settle somewhere deep in your chest where it makes breathing feel like a conscious, exhausting act. When they covered my mother’s body, I simply walked until Blackthorn blurred into trees and stones, I walked until my legs burned, I walked because if I stopped I was afraid I would do something I couldn’t undo.

Love After

Love After

“This doesn’t change your love for him. It doesn’t change what you had. You still carry him in your heart. Nothing and no one will ever change that. We do not have to go any further than this. This can all stop now, but you can’t live in your grief, Love. No more than you can hide from it.” “It’s just so hard.” “I read somewhere that grief is all the love you have for someone that you want to give them but cannot. That it gathers in the lumps in your throat, the tears in the corners of your eyes and the part of your chest that feels hollow. That all of those things are love with no place to go.” “That is beautifully perfect. Where did you read that?” “Somewhere on the internets. If I remembe

Of still being alive when someone you loved wasn’t. “That’s normal,” I said. “Is it? Because it feels fucked up.” “Grief is fucked up. There’s no right way to do it.” He laughed. Bitter. “My therapist says the same thing.” “You have a therapist?” “Yeah. She told me to go to the support group. Said it would help to talk to people who understand.” “Does it?” “I don’t know yet. Ask me in a few weeks.” We talked for an hour. About Mara, about grief, about how hard it was to move through the world when everything reminded you of what you’d lost.

My Vow: To Kill The Alpha

My Vow: To Kill The Alpha

I watched the sun come up over the ruins of my house. I felt absolutely nothing. And then I felt absolutely everything. And then nothing again. Grief, I was discovering, doesn't arrive in a straight line. It comes in waves that knock you flat, and then it retreats just long enough for you to stand up, and then it comes back. I stood up.

SHADOWBORN: The Rise Of The Dragon Wolf

SHADOWBORN: The Rise Of The Dragon Wolf

Alex wrapped his arms around me from behind and I felt his brothers close ranks around us, felt pack bonds humming with support and love that made the grief slightly more bearable. "I'm sorry," I gasped between sobs. "I'm sorry I'm falling apart." "You're not falling apart," Alex murmured against my hair. "You're grieving, there's a difference." "He's been dead for three years," I protested. "I should be past this." "Grief doesn't have a timeline," Liam said gently. "It hits when it hits regardless of how much time has passed." "And you never got to properly grieve before," Jayce added. "Never had a grave to visit or closure about what happened, so it makes sense it's hitting hard now."

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

As if he knew his words would do nothing, I probably wouldn't even hear what he said. I was young when my Dad died, far too young to experience grief in its fullest. Grief is a cacophony of emotions, all swirling together to create something new. Emotions come and go, but grief stays. Through the brightest and darkest days, grief is an entity in and of itself. Inescapable and all consuming.

Miss Nessie
Not a bad book, a few errors and gramma issues, needs to be edited. I would love to see a second book, but that probably won’t happen. The friends characters were a huge part to this book and I would love to see some short stories from their pov, there could be some really good story lines.

Each time I read your book, I say that's my favorite of all your books but this...this is very intriguing. I can't put it down honestly, now I say—I'm gonna read all of your books. It's you and I because your writing style is way more than I've ever seen anyone use before.

Falling For Two Alphas

Falling For Two Alphas

She was holding a letter and was in panic mood, their breath came in shallow gasps, chest rising and falling rapidly as if the weight of their fear threatened to suffocate them, her heart hammered against her ribcage, a thunderous beat that reverberated through her body, matching the rhythm of her escalating panic. I asked; " WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO YOU? " She was looking nervous but than she said something which break my heart, My heartbreak is grief that comes in waves, gruelling, stealing appetite and sleep alike. It is a shard in my guts that never leaves, though perhaps in time the edges will dull. It feels like death just the same as bereavement and in quiet moments it chokes the breath

I Accidentally Became the Alphas' Mate

I Accidentally Became the Alphas' Mate

“That would imply my father ever explained a damn thing in his life.” Cade’s mouth twitched, but River huffed a low sound that might’ve been agreement. “That,” River said dryly, “is fair.” For the first time in hours, my mouth almost curved. Almost. Then it was gone. Because grief was like that. Cruel enough to let you forget for half a second before it crushed your chest all over again. I looked down at the key in my hand. It wasn’t ornate. Wasn’t fancy. Just old brass, worn smooth from use.

Shattered Vows

Shattered Vows

Elena I’ve come to understand that love doesn’t die when trust does. It simply mutates—twisting itself into resentment, guilt, longing. And grief. Grief for the person you used to be. Grief for the family you thought you had. Grief for the future that will never arrive. After my encounter with Daniel at the café, something inside me cracked—not from weakness, but from clarity. He wasn’t here for closure. He was here because his world had finally collapsed, and he needed somewhere to grieve.

THE ALPHA'S IMPOSSIBLE MATE

THE ALPHA'S IMPOSSIBLE MATE

He registered it the way you registered weather, present and noted and entirely secondary to the thing that was happening in the center of him where the bond connected him to Sara and Sara was broken in a way he had never felt her broken before and the pup that had been a warmth in the bond since the night he lay in the dark and felt something small and certain and entirely new was simply not there anymore. Gone. The word had no floor. He had thought he understood grief. Had carried Elena's death for three years and rebuilt himself around the specific shape of that loss and had believed, in the way that people believed things that had not yet been tested, that he understood what the worst of
