"Just be patient for a second, eh?" The door to the ladies' bathroom down the hall opens and out comes Valentina, stopping as soon as he sees the two of them hunched over trying to open the door. "Everything all right boys?" she asks, smiling, like she knows exactly what they're about to do. "You want to come with?" Vinnie asks just as Matteo gets the door open. Valentina looks at Matteo for a second. "Sure." She slings her small bag over her shoulder and makes her way towards them, not breaking eye contact. The boys don't move until she steps into the room, looking around.

Valentina said, adjusting her necklace, “show me what you believe has disturbed you so deeply.” Elara hesitated, then turned and walked toward Damon’s office. Valentina followed at a pace that carried no urgency, as though she were examining an art gallery. Elara opened the door and stepped aside so Valentina could look. Valentina glanced once at the open safe. Her expression didn’t change. “You didn’t close it?” she asked. “I didn’t open it.” Valentina stepped closer. She stared into the safe for several seconds. Her eyes didn’t widen. Her breath didn’t catch. She simply stretched out a hand and touched the velvet interior where something had clearly been removed.

“Next.” Isadora crawled to Valentina, who was already naked now too..standing tall like a goddess of ruin. Her body was fierce. Curves sharp enough to cut. Her pierced nipples gleamed under the light. She lifted one leg up onto the arm of the chair, exposing herself completely. Isadora kissed her thigh. Whispered it again. “I’m your filthy little bitch..” Valentina slapped her face. Just once. Then cupped her chin with a smile and spit directly into her mouth.

Several minutes after watching Valentina leave, I sit on the couch, too stunned to move or even think. No matter how hard I try, I find it difficult to wrap my head around what I have just learnt. This isn’t the Valentina I knew, she seem to have morphed into some kind of monster I have never seen nor heard of.

Tom’s POV I went back into my office after I made sure that my doll was okay. I opened the laptop sitting on my wooden desk and unlocked the camera for Kiara's room. I looked at her angel face imagining what I could do to her. She was mine, there was nowhere she could hide, I owned her. I loved the idea of her being my toy and prey. I went downstairs to the kitchen. I saw Valentina sitting on the chair, crying. I went to the section with drinks and got one whiskey, then poured it into a cup, watching Valentina curiously.

Valentina stood for a few seconds and looked at the phone in her hand in a stupor, and then woke up and went to follow the instructions of her superiors. Arriving, the director asked Valentina to stay in the office while he was talking to the girl. As soon as he entered the waiting room, Valentina was once again convinced of his family resemblance to the young lady. She did not have time to say a word, only turned her head towards the new visitor to the office, who turned out to be the owner of it, and froze, looking at him eagerly.

I say while brushing my hair in front of the vanity mirror. The door opens slowly and Valentina walks in carrying a silver tray filled with freshly chopped fruits, neatly arranged beside a small glass of juice. “I made this for you,” she says softly, placing the tray on the vanity. For a second I just stare at her. Valentina Massimo. The same woman that once looked at me like I was beneath her. Now standing in my room making me fruit because I’m carrying her grandchild. Life is strange. I smile faintly. “Thank you.”
