She shrugged, a little awkwardly. I smiled back, wanting to put her at ease. “Thank you, Sie. I really appreciate it.” We flicked through some new books and papers while we waited for the pizza to arrive. My body suddenly got up when I heard Drake's answer. "Did I hear that right? I have been lying here for three months straight, unconscious?" I inquired, shocked. Given that vampires do not sleep, how I didn’t regenerate my strength fast that I have been unconscious for three months straight? "Calm down Sis." "But how did that even happen Drake? “Call the pack doctor now!!!” I roared at Zeke as I made my way to the Lycan mansion, with Katherine in my arms. I could barely hear her heartbeat. I took her straight into my room and laid her on the bed. She was covered in blood. My heart squeezed. Zeke returned quickly with the pack doctor. The moment she entered, she froze and her wolf whimpered. My presence was too much for her, but I couldn’t hold it back. Not when Katherine was slipping away from me.
