Vanessa Simmons Husband Novels & Stories

Vanessa cupped her nose, stench becoming one with the air. "Vanessa. This is Simon Cabella. Ashleigh Corkin. And Vasic Laren." A tall man, as tall as Noah, presented his veined hand to her. She shook it. His fierce complexion of, a shade lighter than the night sky, with eyes of grey steel, suited his crude voice. "Pleasure." "Same." She whispered back. From behind him, Vasic, leaner than all other males present, winked his blue sapphire eye at her. Ashleigh, her majestic blonde hair all over the place, gave her a two finger salute.

That word—'pregnant'—burned through me like fire all over again. Staring at him, my eyes were full of hate. I snapped, "What's it got to do with YOU?" He grabbed my shoulders, shaking me hard. "You're my WIFE! And you went behind my back—had a baby with my UNCLE? What was I to you?" I just stared, stunned. Thought I couldn't feel worse, thought I was already shattered. But somehow, Matthew always found a new way to crush me.

Zachary said as he smiled, but the coldness in his smile sent a shiver down one's spine. Sitting back in his chair, he crossed his legs as he asked, "What's the scandal with Kent?" "Mr. Simons is a bit of a playboy and has had numerous girlfriends. The most recent one alleged to be pregnant with his child and had an abortion after their breakup, resulting in her being unable to conceive. "The situation has escalated to the point where her family has caused a commotion at his company." Henry kept his head down, and his tone was slightly awkward.

But I never could've imagined what came next. On our wedding day, I stood waiting at the altar for three hours, bouquet in my hands. But Simon never showed up. Guests were getting restless, demanding to know when the ceremony would start. I frantically dialed Simon's number for the 18th time. This time, he finally answered. But before I could say a word, his irritated voice came through the line. "Didn't I tell you I'm taking Fiona to the hospital today for our IVF appointment? Why are you being so unreasonable?"

She said, and I turned to see if Veronica was still sleeping, breathing a sigh of relief when I saw she hadn't woken up. "Who's Jameson?" I asked, frowning slightly as I didn't have an inkling of whoever this Jameson person was, and after Miles comical possessive behavior last night, I didn't want to have to deal with another Veronica admirer. She obviously heard the censure in my voice as she rushed to explain herself, "Jameson's my husband, Veronica's father... You don't have to worry about anything. He came to the city three days ago and he met with Veronica, she told him she was seeing someone." She said.

“Yes, sir. Madam and Dr. Ellis managed to stabilize him. They’re both overseeing the tests now.” At the mention of my wife—and the fact she was with Simon—my posture straightened instantly. I knew it was inevitable for them to cross paths since they worked in the same field, but the thought of the two together sat poorly in my chest. I remembered Simon once mentioning he liked someone. And with the way he described her, I was damn sure it was Isla. If he dared to cross that line, I wouldn’t mind cutting him off. My knuckles whitened around my pen. “Keep me updated.”

In the dead of night, their moans and groans kept the villa alive with passion. If someone had told Alissa five years ago that she would be in this moment, she would have been skeptical. The man in question was Shane Randall, her husband for the past five years. Alissa had become a stand-in wife for Shane when her foster sister, Cindy Randall, suffered a major car accident and slipped into a coma. A coma which had been in for five years. The mere thought was heartbreaking for Alissa. For Shane, it was a marriage of convenience; Alissa was merely a stand-in for his true love, Cindy Randall. But for Alissa, Shane was the boy she had fallen in love with back in middle school.

Vanessa, with her fiery hazel eyes and trembling strength. “Yes,” I finally answered. “There is someone.” The journalist’s eyebrows lifted in interest. “Really?” I nodded and leaned back slightly, “Infact, she’s carrying my child, and we’ll be married soon.” I heard low murmurs in the background. Cameras flashed, and I could feel the curiosity in the air. “Can you give us her name?” “Vanessa,” I answered after giving it a thought. No last name. No further details. Just enough to set their imaginations on fire.

She turned, smiling at the sight of him—hair tousled, shirtless, still half-asleep, but already looking too handsome for her sanity. “Vanessa,” she said. “Apparently, she’s dating Kelvin Carter.” That woke him up. He sat up, brows lifting. “Kelvin Carter? The actor?” Vanessa’s voice came through the speaker. “Oh great, now your husband knows too. Fantastic. Just announce it to the whole world, Elena.” Adrian chuckled, his tone amused. “Tell her congratulations. That man’s impossible to get near without half the industry watching.” “Adrian!” Vanessa shouted. “You’re not helping!”

’ Simone questions in her mind. “You have options. I know he is engaged to Leona Sim…” “He is married to Leona Simmons. Or should I say he is married to me. It’s a long and complicated story; one I will be sharing with the public soon” Simone states, cutting the doctor’s sentence off as the fear and rage start to manifest in her body. “Now, can you please fix my shoulder?”
