That girl was gone now, replaced by someone she barely recognized. A sliver of moonlight filtered through the small, barred window high up on the wall, casting a faint glow across the floor. She looked up after recovering from that little incident, and coincidentally, she was facing a mirror like wall. It was the building of a house. It looked like a bank. In that mirror, Ashina could see herself. She was a mermaid. She had long Black, wavy hair. The color of her bra was lilac and that of her tail was purple. She smiled at her reflection. She loved what she was seeing.

The mermaid was happy to receive it. “What does the shell do?”

The room filled with crackling energy as the purplish smoke enveloped Luciana, swirling around her like a protective shield. Luciana’s eyes widened in surprise, her hands instinctively reaching out to shield herself from the water. But instead of a splash, the water seemed to dissolve into a shimmering mist as it made contact with her skin. The room was filled with eerie silence, broken only by Vanessa’s rhythmic chanting.
