I felt Ava more closer to me than ever and then I heard something. My head snapped up and I swear I saw an angel. Large white-gold wings, long silver and an ethereal silhouette. Familiar electric blue eyes met mine and for a second the whole world faded away. All I could see was her. My angel. My mate. "Avalyn." I breathed. She has wings now. She's truly a faye now, in every sense of the world.

"I can imagine you perfectly with them. But they wouldn't be white, they would be black the same color as your eyes, maybe with a touch of red at the tips just to give a style. And I imagine they would be a little curved at shoulder height, and quite full and soft in everything else. I knew the creatures that were banished here were unsafe for our realm… But I couldn’t imagine Dominik doing anything that could be deemed unsafe. It was just a strange feeling. Besides the feeling of doom that I got around him, and well, all of them really, I couldn’t imagine them being so bad to deserve this punishment. Yet just then, the twelve-winged angel was right in front of him. It raised the long sword in its grasp, bringing it down against Wilbur's head. The angel moved too quickly for Wilbur to avoid it, and he grabbed the long sword as he glowered at the angel. In the next second, both the angel and its sword were absorbed into the white gloves.
