“Aria is alive.” My muscles locked. My heartbeat skipped, but I didn't believe him. “Liar.” I roared furiously, then I charged again. This time, I was faster. Viktor dodged, but I clipped his shoulder, and blood splattered the floor. He hissed softly, stepping back. “Listen to me!” I didn’t. I couldn’t. He had no right to say her name. Fenrir didn’t want to hear words. He wanted vengeance.

They're so warm, comforting, and the Viking’s breath fanning his face is mouth-watering. Sean's eyes widen when the Viking closes his eyes and leans in. Sean tries to pull back and get out of his arms, but it's useless. The Viking's large, strong arms have him trapped with nowhere to go. Sean freezes when the Viking man begins nuzzling his cheek. He instantly melts, becoming putty in his arms. His stomach does one flip after another as the large beast nuzzles his cheeks affectionately. His nose slowly makes its way along his cheek, over his jaw, and down his neck until it finds what he's looking for.

" This is my girlfriend, Viktor, so if she's my girlfriend, how can she also be your girlfriend ?" Viktor, at that moment, was already breaking a sweat. He worked for Hendrik and knew exactly what he was like, but he truly had no idea that Freya could be dating someone like Hendrik it didn't really fit her style, since he had picked a fight with the wrong person, leaving him with no choice but to confront Hendrik who was more like a tiger than a jaguar.

"Fenrir. A son of the god, Loki. It's a very powerful name. A very powerful wolf." Liv met the woman's intense gaze. Her voice wrapped around Liv like a warm blanket. A feeling of profound comfort came over her and she let out a little sigh. "I knew it was Norse. I've been told my father's people were from Denmark…or what is Denmark now," she said. Suddenly, she just wanted to curl up and take a nap, preferably in the giant Viking's generous lap. What? She shook herself. What was going on with her today. She needed to get out of here and back to the woods. All the concrete was obviously making her loopy.

My voice shook with emotions, and cracked at times as I fought against the tears. “You are my best friend, my lover, and my soulmate. I love you more than words can say, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. I promise to always be there for you, to love you unconditionally, and to always put you first. You are my everything, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. I love you always and forever, my viking.”

I wrenched my arm out of his hold, walking away while he stared after me. "That there is a Viking woman, Saint. If you don't want her, I sure the hell do," Leif snorted. "It's a rare breed that will work from dawn until sundown, protecting her people. Fenrir blessed you, even if you can't see it, daft bastard." "She rejected me and banished my crew, allowing her father to torture us. She may be the most gorgeous creature I've ever seen or wanted, but she's as cold-hearted and evil as her father." I swallowed, overhearing Saint's words, frowning as I replayed what he'd said. I didn't slow down or even acknowledge the men as I entered my room, flinging off my clothes before jumping into the sh

Freya had sent more Viking warriors after us to kill us off, so that we could not live to help anymore. I told Kaitlyn and Ali about a Viking warrior that attacked us in the Hospital with a monster that words alone could not describe, however, the strength of this Viking warrior was incredible so much that Liss and I struggled to overpower him, until Sam stepped in and offered to be a diversion so I could escape to reach her.

Viktor forced himself up, shaking like a leaf in a gale but standing tall, his eyes burning with a terrifying fire. “I came for my wife,” he rasped, his pride intact even as his face puffed with bruises. “Consequences be damned. I’ll burn this whole kingdom down to get her back from you.” I let out a harsh, dry laugh. “Your wife? Have you truly gone mad? Kari is my mate, by the very laws of the moon.” Viktor’s lip curled in a sneer that cut deeper than his claws. “Mate? You call yourself her mate, yet you're standing here talking up a storm while she wanders the woods alone? You couldn't even keep her behind a locked door, Titan!”

"Seriously, Adrian. I’ve had many people before you. Men, women… I had a life, if I can even call it that, without limits. Until not long ago, when we slept together for the first time. And I don’t see myself with anyone else anymore. Not with him. Not with anyone." She sat up in bed and reached out to touch his arm. "He comes here acting all smug, bringing ‘virgins’ as if he owns the place, and you laugh with him. You call him ‘my love.’ I saw the way he looks at you." Valkiria sighed before speaking in a gentle tone. "He’s a useful idiot. An old contact who knows where to find clean, willing blood when we need it quickly. And yes, I call him ‘my love’—it makes him work faster. It’s just pr
