The Villain People might describe me as abrasive. Of course, I don't agree. I simply show little concern for the feelings of others because I don't give a shit about your problems when I have my own. If that's abrasive well fuck, I'm abrasive. But I'm not like that all the time. It's people like Morrison and his balls-scratching heathens you call football players that bring out the worst in a girl like me.

As Bella listened, her eyes widened. “That's why you never made him alpha. I could never understand why you didn't choose Victor, even when I was with Darian.” “They both have their strong suits,” he admitted. “If they were two halves of the same person, I dare say they'd make the strongest alpha any pack has seen. All claims of involuntary actions or forced actions were simply excuses after one’s choice was made. Regardless of time or place, one’s reasons were no excuse for committing evil deeds. He chuckled gently and mumbled to himself, “That’s right. I’ve forgotten. I’m a villain. A lowlife.”

The author wrote the novel for the villain and the protagonists to fight each other. In terms of IQ, the villain wins. In terms of strength, the villain wins—even though he was disabled. In terms of being a schemer, the villain also wins. In terms of being cruel and merciless? It's the villain who wins. Besides that, the villain is also the head of the clan, one of the most feared by the others to the point that if they heard his name, they would subconsciously shiver. Even though they know that the villain was disabled, they didn't easily laugh or mock him for being so because those who laugh at him and mock him for his disability met a cruel end.

There was no need for him to add his brand new wife to the list. She needed to focus. This man was a villain. He had been the head of a notorious ring of aristocrats that had treated commoners like garbage. She had researched him and his family, she knew all about their crimes. He had only turned everyone in to save his own skin. He wouldn’t trick her. She would watch him. She was sure that he would go back to his old ways, and when that happened she would promptly turn him in. She was sure the king would annul their marriage when that happened.

That's what they all believed. It was reasonable for them to think that way. A spoiled wealthy girl and a naive innocent one. Who was the villain? Apparently, no one was on my side. People believe what they want to believe, and I was the one who got their anger. That was that. They couldn't be changed. But I did hold some grievances. I was pissed not because everyone hated me, but because of Annika Summers, the girl with an innocent face I used to take as my best friend.
