“When I asked what you guys do for fun around here, this is not at all what I expected.” “But it’s like ten times better right?” Veronica says standing in front of the mirror and analyzing her raven colored outfit. She had come to my room to get ready since both our rooms were right beside each other. “So what’s the plan exactly?” I slip on my black fitted long-sleeved gown which reaches mid-thigh. “Well, as you know there are seven floors. We’re on the third, and Rhea’s on the second. The guys are also on the second.” She chooses to make her hair a little wavy at the ends while I straighten mine.

Among the medicines was a small vial glass, almost iridescent, and unlike the others. “What’s that?” I asked. He picked it up gently. “Velmira. It’s a special blend, it stabilizes internal shifts, calms the wolf within, and helps prevent miscarriages during early pregnancy.” My heart caught for a second. I nodded, cradling the reality a little tighter. “Thank you.” Later, Azrik reached out through the mindlink, concern lacing his every word. I told him the doctor had visited, that I was feeling better.

The Beta lifted Rhyland’s cock and showed her the gaping hole at the end. “You put your penis, inside his penis?” She asked amazed. “Yup.” “Then why doesn’t the Vermale just carry the egg to the end?” “Vermale hormones prevent the egg from developing a shell and keep it in developmental stasis.” He explained, going to wipe his own cum off Rhyland’s face when Lillah put her hand on his, staying the advance. Then she leant over and licked it off, cleaning the Vermale’s face. Rhyland smiled in his sleep. “Nicely done, baby girl.” She blushed a little, crawling up towards the pillows.

"Valkyrie Two and Three, deploy Silvermist protocol. Blanket the target area." The other two drones swooped low over the ocean, their wings angling with impossible grace. They released a fine, shimmering mist from their dispersal pods, a glittering cloud that descended upon the churning water. The "Silvermist" was one of Katherine's more elegant and brutal inventions: an aerosolized silver nitrate compound, molecularly bound to a clinging agent. Harmless to humans, but agonizingly, flesh-meltingly corrosive to most supernatural creatures, especially werewolves and the magically summoned beasts they controlled.

The glass was fogged with condensation, but Aurora could see the shapes ,small, fetal, but it looked wrong to her. Lila whistled, the sound sharp and brittle. “oh geez this is the vault your mom sealed after the ’04 leak.”she.Aurora walked forward, with her boots making a tapping sound as she walked on the metal bar floor. At the center of the chamber stood a single cradle; it wasn't for a baby, but for a brain. A human brain preserved in nutrient gel, joined together with gold filaments that pulsed like veins. It was larger than it should be, swollen with memory and code. It beats slowly but it was alive right above it a surface bloomed, casting blue light across Aurora’s face.ELYSIUM v.9.,E

The violet mist didn't smell like chemicals; it smelled like copper and rain—the scent of the old world’s sins. As it swirled through the library, the younger Echoes didn't cough. They didn't choke. Instead, their bodies went rigid, their eyes glazing over as the aerosol nanites bypassed their lungs and sought the dormant "Wild" receptors in their nervous systems. "Don't breathe it in!" Liam roared, tearing his suit jacket off and soaking it in the decorative water fountain to create makeshift masks.

The land here had begun to heal after the war, but now patches of grass lay withered again, as if life itself had been drained. Kael approached, armor dusty, expression grim. “It’s just beyond that ridge,” he said, nodding toward a rise of cracked stone. “We kept everyone back.” Verath stepped forward. “Show us.” They climbed the ridge together: Verath, Elara, Kael, and Rowan. On the other side, the earth had split open. At the center of the fissure rose a massive crystal twice the height of a man. It pulsed with deep violet light, veins of black running through it like rot. Dark mist curled from its surface, drifting across the ground and causing nearby plants to crumble.

The harsh blue projection light not only illuminated the monitor beside Silas, it drenched Elias's entire operating console in a suffocatingly cold hue. The data was brutally direct: the core component of the high-concentration synthetic inducer Vivian used in the arena was a specialized plant extract called veratridine. The plant was exclusive to the extreme permafrost of the Northern border highlands, with a growing season of barely two months. In all the wolf territories, only three patches of permafrost met its strict growth requirements. The two most fertile of them fell squarely within the Tri-Lord's private Northern forestry holdings.

A faint, cold violet glow spilled out from inside the dark recess, illuminating the lower half of my face. Inside the safe sat three velvet-lined wooden racks, stacked neatly on top of one another. Arranged in precise, flawless rows were dozens upon dozens of small glass vials. Each one was filled with a dark, iridescent liquid that shimmered beneath the pale light, swirling with a thick, heavy sediment that looked like liquid obsidian. Not the Night-bloom. The Night-bloom was a simple, crude sedative Bram used for street sickness. What sat inside this vault was something far more ancient. Far more cruel.
