Calder’s POV I smiled to myself and returned to my emails, already planning exactly how tonight would go. I was reviewing the report on the recovered pinhole cameras when my assistant buzzed in. “Mr. Calder, Sir Wells is here. He says it’s urgent about the foundation portfolio.” I leaned back in my chair. “Send him in.” Wells entered moments later, closing the door behind him. "You look like absolute hell. You ready to roll or what?"

That was, of course, Wendy. Wendy was quite the looker, and she was also well-read with high academic accolades. Wallace had fallen for Wendy, and the two of them had gone on a trip across the country under Chad's support. This was to grow Wallace and Wendy's relationship, but also for Wallace to stay away from the terrible influence he called friends. By chance, he got hold of Zharvakko’s scriptures but could not crack its secret even after spending decades studying.” Wallace kept shaking his head as he spoke. “I suppose you are on your way to prepare Mr. Yowell’s medicine. You can’t sit here today!”

Cass returned the hug, appreciating the genuine concern from her best friend. Cass let out a sigh, realizing she had some explaining to do. "Sit down, both of you. Let me explain," she said, motioning towards the living room. Scar and Amanda followed her, their curiosity piqued. Taking a deep breath, Cass began, "I am the one in the picture. I've been dating Marcus for a while now. He's actually my boss at Wells Holdings." Amanda's eyes widened in astonishment. "Wait, Marcus Wells? The billionaire CEO of Wells Holdings?" she exclaimed.

His advisor looked at him and shook her head. “Masochist!” She said. As soon as Wilson stopped half a meter away from Todd, somebody ran to their middle and said out loud for everyone to hear. “Alright, everyone. Take thirteen steps backwards.”
