Warriors stood at attention as they passed, blood-streaked and battle-weary, but their gazes followed Kael and Aria with unwavering loyalty. Inside the command tent, the remaining Council members waited—Elder Rowan, the ancient wolf of Wintermere, his silver hair braided with wolfbone; Velric, Alpha of the Eastern Claw, his arm in a sling and face set in stone; and two others, their eyes shadowed with suspicion and uncertainty. Kael didn’t wait for formalities. He stepped into the center and placed a bloodied fang on the war table—a fang torn from the Crimson Fang leader’s second-in-command, a brutal warrior named Maras who had nearly broken through their rear lines.

Cirold forced himself to endure the excruciating pain in his arm as he lay on the ground and quickly cut Nash off and said anxiously, "Enough, Dad! He re-really is the commander-in-chief of the Pendragon Warriors." Nash was not afraid, but Cirold met the Stormwing Riders. He was truly frightened, so his voice was shaking as he spoke.

I’m sure he hasn’t made things easy on you.” I knew he hadn’t, but Damien was more diplomatic. “That’s kind, thank you.” To Jake, he said, “I would never turn away help. If Crow is a reflection of their typical warrior, then we have a hard fought battle ahead of us.”

He turned around on the spot, and he spun around as he observed how many people had come to see their brave warrior fight. As Alpha Helix rose to his feet the crowd grew silent, "Today we have been honoured with a new warrior and species for our very own Clovis to fight." He said in a baritone voice. "After today you can all rest assured knowing that no harm will come to us once the word has spread through the packs like a disease." "Off with his head..." "Sell him to the highest bidder for cattle..." "Let me keep him, he will make a fine father to my offspring..."

Emberstar did care about his kits, whether he wanted to to admit it out loud or not. Eventually, Wrenpaw became Wrenflight. Ebonypaw became Ebonypelt, and Driftpaw became Driftwind. All four newly named warriors looked as if they were ready to burst with pride when the Clan chanted their names. Even Oakfire, Acorntail and Spruceleaf cheered their names. Flamestrike glanced at Reedriver in surprise to see that the normally grumpy RiverClan warrior was doing the same as he sat beside the SkyClan she-cat.

Warriors turned toward the outer ridge, dropping their spears with a clatter, as screams rang out in the distance, just as the fourth lash was about to land on her back. A dog howled as a spear slipped from a warrior’s grip. People ran off, shoving past the stunned onlookers and the ones who had cheered seconds ago now scattered like startled birds. “Move! Move!” “They are back again—!” Even through the blood and heat, Kaerith lifted her head, her vision blurred by tears and sweat. Her heart began racing as she felt the wrongness in the atmosphere. Just then, tents flapped open as people tore through them. Crates of eggs were overturned, and food spilt across the ground.

Stepping forward, he clicks a few things on his table before handing it over to me, where a person’s information is flashed on the screen. Craig chooses out, “Wes. Wes Carter.” Wes… I remember him vaguely. He’s not that remarkable or someone one will remember much. He’s not particularly skilled, and he’s a man who blends easily into the crowd.

It took me by surprise as I hadn't expected such a reaction from them. Hunter then took center stage and began his announcement. "My fellow warriors," he started, "we have been through a difficult time. We have faced challenges that have tested our strength and resilience. But despite all that, we have emerged victorious.
