The Red Wolf

The Red Wolf

**flash back** **Feeling groggy and full, I step under the waterfall shower head, letting the warm water wash away my troubles and the chemical, sterile smell. Wishing it could dissolve my pain and make me forget what's happened this week and day, make it feel like a distant dream. Running my fingers through my long hair, as I lift my head and look up at the water as it flows into my eyes and down my face, removing any sign of tears shed. It looks like the water is glistening, sparkling with dancing, floating lights, must just be an illusion, the ceiling light reflecting off the liquid falling all around me. **

BLOODSTAINED HEARTS

BLOODSTAINED HEARTS

The sound was a symphony of nature, a soothing melody that echoed through the silent night. The water sparkled as it descended, catching the moonbeams and scattering them like a million diamonds. The sheer force of the waterfall created a gentle mist that hung in the air, creating an ethereal atmosphere. The surrounding rocks and foliage added to the beauty, creating a natural amphitheater that embraced the waterfall. Lush greenery framed the cascading water, creating a scene straight out of a fairy tale. I couldn't help but marvel at the sheer power and grace of nature. The waterfall was a testament to the beauty that existed beyond the bustling city, a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

Steam curled from the water in lazy, twisting ribbons. A waterfall spilled from a jagged opening halfway up the far wall—not just water, but glowing, shimmering liquid, threaded with faint sparks. Heated brimstone mist—hot, but not caustic—cascaded down, meant to cleanse rather than burn. It crashed into a central basin, sounding like distant rain on metal. The roar wasn’t loud, just constant—a living backdrop wrapping the cavern in steady hush.

Blue Like The Moonlight

Blue Like The Moonlight

Assuming, he wasn't being a classic melodramatic - though, he knew deep down, he wasn't. "Uri, look at that waterfall, isn't it just stunning?" Erin excitedly pointed, as the thousands of pearly particles fell into a perfect pool of crystalline water, warping under the pressure of the falling drops. A rainbow had arched above the waterfall, showing off all of its beautiful colours, ablaze under the intense glimmer of the golden sun. Uriel stared deeply, and bathed in its evergreen beauty. "It really is." He released a breath gently. "I should paint this one day."

ADA PRIDE OF ALAOCHA (BK 1)

ADA PRIDE OF ALAOCHA (BK 1)

At the flushing sound of a waterfall, Ada trotted down the stone and didn’t stop until the water came into view. It was a silver glittering water, which fell from the ceiling of the cave like a clustered mesh of straight fibers, blinking its radiance down to a bottomless floor. Its current was great and Ada was sure it could pierce the skin of any animal who tries to stand on it. “I know you are here,” came her strong words. She could barely hear herself from the flushing voice of the water which echoed with a strident angry cry, blaring the surface of the rough stones and disappearing into the thin air.

Mated to My Enemy: The Sinful Bond That Binds Us

Mated to My Enemy: The Sinful Bond That Binds Us

I kept following him. Then I heard it—the soft, rushing, soothing sound of water in the distance. As we rounded the final curve, the trees opened up, and my eyes widened. We had arrived at a waterfall. Crystal-clear water tumbled over smooth stones into a glistening pool, surrounded by wildflowers blooming in splashes of yellow, blue, and violet. Moss-covered rocks framed the scene. The sunlight hit the water just right, creating tiny rainbows in the mist. It was… magical.

Slave to the Cursed Alpha

Slave to the Cursed Alpha

I yelled at him and he stared at me in shock. I nodded and hoped that would stop him from persuading me. "That's even more fun cause I would want to teach you." He smiled at me and I knew it would be a good time to get to know him better. "Alright, I'll just stay there but I won't swim." He nodded and we both walked out of the room and went straight to the waterfall. The waterfall was Atlantis-blue, It was gushing over the rocks. At its widest point, it was surging and plunging down the mountain. It had a beautiful serenity-pool at the bottom. It was veneer clear.

Mr. President's Lost Wife

Mr. President's Lost Wife

She looked comfortable sitting on Edmund's lap. "Yes, I've heard that. Did you get to see it?" Sky shook her head. "Le Morne wasn't on Papa's work route. Maybe someday, I'll go back to Mauritius to see it. Hopefully it's still there. Do you know, Uncle? That waterfall is actually just an optical illusion. It's a trail of sand and mud carried by sea currents passing through a gap in the coral reef. So from a certain angle, it looks like a waterfall." Edmund smiled at the explanation. While holding the globe with one hand, he stroked Sky's hair with the other. "You're very smart, Sky. Who taught you?"

Rielle
Just like the other readers. I cried so much because of the father & daughter. It's saddening but also heartwarming. It's a great book. . I enjoyed Ed, Alice & Sky's adventure Now, looking forward to Sky, Louis & Emily's own adventure.

Finished this sweet and relaxing story. Ed really behaved like a dick so his motive doesn't hold up. Sometimes a bit too elaborate so I skipped a bit but Sky is no doubt a marvelous kid. I was curious about Alice's mindset which was not really explained but Sky made up a lot. Worth reading!

The Rejected Alpha Queen

The Rejected Alpha Queen

We emerged into a clearing, and my breath caught. A waterfall. Crystal-clear water cascaded from the rocks above, crashing into a shimmering pool below. Mist rose from the impact, creating a soft, otherworldly glow as sunlight hit the droplets. The surrounding trees stretched high, their leaves whispering in the gentle morning breeze. It was breathtaking. I padded forward, dipping my paws into the cool water. Ronan shifted back to his human form, watching me with a small, satisfied smile. I followed suit, letting my body return to its human state. My heart was still racing from the run, but a strange peace settled over me.

In the Name of the Sacred Tree

In the Name of the Sacred Tree

A fountain that doesn't want to know about all kinds of disasters that have befallen people so many times who used to spit with its coolness. The shower continued to flow, curving like a living crystal, then shattering against the thick, moss-covered stone on the sides. Thousands of drops of water splashed in all directions. They catch the sunlight breaking through the leaves, refracting it perfectly in the form of a Ferris wheel mist.
