I pour myself a glass of whiskey, watering it down with soda, before I go to the laptop and switch it on.
It has a full charge, but it’s password protected. “The password is GregMaraHaven,” Johnathan says from the open door. “Capitals for the names, no spaces.”
I look up at my mate. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I didn’t hear him coming. “You don’t mind if I use your laptop?”
He shakes his head, closes the door behind him, and walks over to the bar to pour himself a whiskey. “I don’t have any secrets from you.”
