The possibilities she offered were practically nonexistent. “Jane Ann. I’m tired. He needs medical attention now. A night in a crate in my kitchen won’t hurt him. I doubt he’s in any shape to hurt me, let alone kill me. Wolves aren’t stupid animals.” Becky went to retrieve the meat along with the leftovers she’d eat for dinner. It was a stroke of luck when she’d stumbled upon a book of recipes that planned a week’s meals by cooking one main meat and stretching it through multiple meals. She cooked every Sunday for the next week. This way she could come home and not have to prepare dinner at this late of an hour.

,I nod and dismiss him. Bright and lex are my favourite, only because they are the most determined trainees. They are always asking questions, asking for more training, the rest do what I tell them to do but you can tell their hearts are not really in it,it's just something they have to do. I made a book for bright too,to help her havea better diet more balance and exercises she should do.She loves it and literally has it with her all the time. She's drinking a lot ofwater. She is glowing and is much happier, she is definitely gaining confidence.

Outside, Warren Hewitt from the neighborhood association looked flustered as he tried to stop a spirited old man in his 60s. "Mr. Fletcher, please, let's talk calmly. Don't do this. Ms. Lawson is a good person—" The man called Mr. Fletcher shoved Mr. Hewitt aside and thrust a phone in front of my face. "A good person? Mr. Hewitt, don't let her fool you. See for yourself!" On the phone screen, a short video was playing. The footage was shaky and shot at the kitchen's serving window. On the tray was a plate piled with braised pork ribs, collard greens, mashed potatoes, a bowl of bean soup, and some grains.

WREN My eyes widened, seeing the ceramic plates before me. The maid doubted what to make for me, as I dozed off to sleep, because of the drugs I'd taken. There's scrambled eggs with sausages, macaroni and cheese, sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, oatmeal with fruit and honey, creamy pasta. “Mr. Vaughn ordered you to be well fed.” Ivy had said. After eating most of the food, I checked the bedside table. It's clocking twenty four hours in this place.

I seriously cannot remember the last time I ate. Becky stands up straight, and with all the pride she can muster, she lifts the cover off. "It's a simple dish since you are in recovery. Chicken and rice with a mirepoix blend, to drink I have personally brewed ginger and chamomile tea to aid in digestion." She looks over, looking for my approval of her simple rice porridge and tea. I can tell she didn't want me to eat just any old porridge and put thought into it, even the tea.

“Sheryl will be upset if she returns, and you’ve wasted away.” “I’m not hungry,” Rachel muttered, throwing the blankets over her face to shield her from the lighting of the room. “Come on, Rachel. Just a bite of something. Anything.” Rachel finally sighed and peered over at her. “Fine… get me something from the cafeteria.” Becca was relieved to hear her say that and didn’t waste any time getting to the cafeteria and grab some food. There was some kind of pork dish that smelled decent enough, along with some rice and a pudding

The car shot forward. … “Coo-coo-coo…” Just as Harper’s nerves settled, a familiar metallic laughter echoed from the car’s audio system. It was… AI Doc! Sure enough, the childlike, mechanical voice filled the car. “Methods for nutritious meal preparation include stir-frying, roasting, steaming, braising, boiling, frying, and cold dishes. Balanced nutrition is crucial. Also, AI Doctor reminds Miss Harper that cannibalism is illegal, and Young Master is not lean meat—health and nutrition are uncertain…”

“Jordan, stop it!” I felt my heart sink and turn cold. I had a good guess on who had sent me that text message. On our first anniversary, Jordan was cheating on me with his childhood best friend. Everyone was chatting and laughing in the private room. Jordan’s friends were teasing him, too. “Jordan, you’re so brave. Aren’t you worried that Colhern’s going to find out?” When they brought me up, Jordan sounded incredibly annoyed. “Colhern? She looks like an old pig after she gained weight from her pregnancy. Don’t you know I lose my appetite just by looking at her face? She still asks me why I’m not eating. If she gets out of my face, I’d eat faster than lightning!”

I nodded and went back to eating my breakfast. ************* Note: Don't forget to like, comment and share the book! This really helps it grow on the platform

Zach carefully leaned Zayla against his chest, picked up the bowl of freshly stewed chicken soup from the table, and blew away the rising steam. "You must be starving. You're still so weak—you need something nourishing," he said. "I want the chicken soup Joey used to make," Zayla whispered as she settled into him. "Her soup was always perfect for me. If I have that, I'll have the strength to bring our baby into the world." As she spoke, her hand absentmindedly brushed against his.
