We Belong Together Novels & Stories

he responds without a care in the world, still carrying me, "I want them to know. They should." "Alright," I murmur, trying to ignore the feeling of rightness in my stomach. I do like everyone knowing we're going to fuck... not just that specifically, but that we're together. That we belong to each other. And we're following fate instead of fighting against it as we've been doing for years and years.

"you fucking belong to me!" That night, I heard those words and found myself yielding to that feeling once more. Soon, the night of our passion unfolded, indulging me on a ride that could destroy me once more…

he says, turning to her with a grin. Millie hesitates, and for a split second, she glances at me. There’s something there—just a flash, a glimpse of what used to be so natural between us. “How about Don’t Stop Believin’?” she mutters, barely louder than a whisper. But I hear it, and my heart stutters, caught off guard. It’s my favorite, and I know it’s one of hers too. The whole van cheers, and I can’t help but light up a bit. For that brief moment, it’s almost like everything’s okay.

“A haven for those like us. Displaced. Wandering. Looking for a place to belong.” Callum’s hand tightened around mine. “Not just a place to live. A place to heal.” I looked around at them—these people who had become more than crew. More than allies. They were my family now. “We shape the future,” I said. “Together. Not with dominance. Not with fear. But with intention.” A silence followed, full of meaning. The seed glowed brighter, responding to our unity. “I vote we call it ‘Solace,’” Kira said with a shrug. “Kinda feels right.”

I took a deep breath and started walking the closer I got, the more nervous I got but I had to swallow it up. As I stood the altar, the elders told me to kneel before my people. "LUCAS ALDÉRIC, you kneel here before your people and goddess, are you ready to free your father of his title and take it upon yourself to cater for all the need of your pack, are you ready to be the judge, father, protector, lover, giver and leader of this pack" the leader of the elders spoke "Yes" I said with a deep breath "Are you prepared to be willing to put everyone here before yourself, to be as selfless as you can be"

We spoke in unison, our voices carrying across the silent clearing: “Two packs, once separate, now join as one. Together, our strengths grow, and our weaknesses fade away. In good times and tough times, We promise to help each other with our thoughts, words, and actions. Under moon and sun, through forest and glen, We stand united, now and always, amen.” As we finished, a soft murmur rippled through the crowd. I could sense the strength of the words enveloping us, connecting us in a way that was more than just speech.

“I told you where I stood, although maybe some things have changed since then, I just want you to know that my life and love life is too messy for me to drag you into.” “I'm here for it all, remember?” “You say that but it would be extremely selfish to let you do that. I'm a mess, I think I still have feelings for someone who wants nothing to do with me, and my sister is planning to go explore the world with her boyfriend after her surgery and—” Elena hiccupped, she didn't know when tears started dropping from her eyes.

Ryan's photographs captured the essence of fleeting moments, reminding others to embrace the beauty of the present. Together Forever was not just a love story, but a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, the transformative power of art, and the enduring impact of a love that transcends time. It was a tale of two souls who, through their shared dreams and unwavering love, had discovered the true essence of life—to live fully, love deeply, and embrace the beauty of each passing moment.

"Fine. I'll call you Mouse." He frowned, clearly not pleased. I smacked his head again. "I'm the boss. You listen to me. Starting tomorrow, you don't get to freeload. We work for what we eat." And just like that, Mouse, who was actually Ryan, and I fell into a routine. We split up to scavenge and beg for food. Sometimes, we teamed up to take down a big stray dog together. Until one day, a line of cars pulled up outside the broken place we had been sleeping in.

Deciding. "If you join us." Kai's voice is gentle. "You become part of the collective. Forever. No separation. No individuality. Just we. Are you sure?" "I'm sure." Trinity stands. "I've never been more sure. I belong with you. With this family. With this unity. Please. Don't make me stay fractured. Don't make me stay alone." We feel it. The pull. The temptation. The desire. To expand. To include. To become more. Six instead of five. Bigger collective. Stronger unity. More love.
