"So about building Xavier's credentials?" Tille asked. "Is your propeller done already?" Lis asked. "No. We reached a little deadlock. I'm still thinking of something else to improve it." I replied. "We need something timely." Lis said. "Something to increase military power, something to help improve the crops, something to help improve mobility, what else?" I said.

Power is intoxicating. There is no doubt about it. Just the feeling of a vast amount of power encompassing you is so empowering and hallucinogenic, it is no wonder that some people start to crave the feeling, becoming more and more greedy and corruptive with each passing moment. That we’ll keep running.” My voice hardened. “So we remove that control.” Bastian frowned. “And how do you propose we do that?” I took a breath. “We stop hiding. We make a move. We show the world that the Council has no monopoly on power.”

She tells him. “Why do you want to hide them?” He asked. “Because if they see we have powers, they might try to find some way to make us use them for their selfish reasons.” “Couldn’t we just use our powers on them?” “Keyne, the more that know we have powers, the more dangerous our lives become. We will be hunted; our loved ones will be used against us.” Felan tried to get him to understand.
