Adam POV I made my way back to Jenna’s room to retrieve her cell phone. I looked around her room but didn’t see it. It must be in her backpack. I move over to open it and notice a funny smell associated with the bag. Almost like it is a clinical smell. Similar to the smells at the Pack hospital. Opening the bag I see a used pair of scrubs, which I toss into her laundry basket. Rooting through I still don’t see her phone.

I handed her the shopping bag as we settled into the living area. "Goodness, Adam..." She seemed lost in admiration as she examined every detail of the bag. It was a signature ladies' bag that hadn't even been released on the market yet, so her mouth fell open as she carefully began to unpack it from the box. "How did you... get one?" I smiled and playfully shrugged. "Connections?" She chuckled. "Wait. You deserve a delicious breakfast." With a wide grin, she rose from the couch. "I'll whip up some breakfast for you. Just a moment."

She hands it to me with a devious grin on her face. I open the bag and gasp, while I feel my eyes almost bug out of my head. My eyes scan the contents of the bag: I see lace, silk, strings, and glitter. Underwear. Wait, no. None of these counts as underwear. These are butt floss and cheek chillers. How am I supposed to comfortably walk while wearing any of these? I thought to myself as I pulled out a black, lacy thong.

The man walked to the corner of the room as he watched us with predatory eyes. “I have a little surprise for you ma'am, I hope you love surprises?" he said looking at me with a smile like he expected me to smile back. “You'll like this one," Adrian said, as he opened the bag he was holding and brought out what looked like a life jacket but no it wasn't a life jacket. It was something else. Oh God. ******* Guess what? Do you have an idea why Adrian might be doing this?

"I got my fingers on Zombie Down III, if you're still interested. Sorry, my room's a mess," Adam picked up some littering pants, boxers, and shirts in his messy room and shoved them into the laundry basket next to the bathroom door. "Been challenged with having to figure out what to put on lately." He explained, looking around for what had to be hidden to make the room a lot more presentable. "Please sit. Can I offer you something?" "No, I'm fi-fine."

By the time we reached the living room, he had pulled two large duffel bags from where he had stashed them near the entryway. “For my princess,” he said, kneeling in front of Lee. He pulled out a sparkling pink children’s makeup kit, complete with glittery lip gloss, pastel eyeshadows, and tiny brushes. Her eyes grew as wide as saucers. Then came a tiara, a soft pair of unicorn slippers, and a small jewelry box with clip-on earrings shaped like stars. Lee squealed, throwing herself at him. “You’re the best!” “And for my little man,” Adam turned to Sami, “a whole world of dinosaurs.”

Ophelia chirped in, rolling her eyes as she pulled me out of the bed. "Hey, let go of me, I didn't do anything. I didn't steal from you." "Alright then, I'll go ahead and search your bag." Addison sneered as she picked up my bag that sat on the floor by Mia's door. She started rummaging through the bag making me glare at her in discomfort. I didn't like the evil smirk on her face when she tilted the bag upside down, its contents spilling over on the floor. I didn't have much in my bag, just a tube of lipgloss, a few pieces of chewing gum, a romance novel, and a wallet.

Julia covered her mouth and asked in a hushed tone, “What’s the matter?” Before grabbing the bag she was holding, Adrian glanced at her. And after that, he took out the small button battery-like object from the bag’s bottom. Adrian threw that thing to the ground, stomped on it, and then kicked it to the side. He breathed a sigh of relief after the fragment hit the corner and split into pieces. “What exactly is this?” Julia asked as she was totally confused. “A bug,” Adrian said slowly. “A bug? How did this end up in my bag? Why didn’t I know anything about this?”
