Lord Davis had been working with creatures of the dark to fight other creatures of the dark without realizing. Lazarus knew they were stronger than this but were trying to appear human while fighting. He did his best to defend himself but they needed backup. He tried to reach the other's telepathically but realized they had already arrived. Acheron reached them faster. All of them were fighting three or four shades each. A few humans joined here and there but they were easier to knock down. The shades eventually realized they couldn't hold back their powers, so they shape shifted into different animals. Suddenly a large dog sank his teeth into his arm and Lazarus tried to fight it off while

she said, and I waved at her in response. Alone in my room, my thoughts turned to my life as a half-rank wolf. With an alpha Dad and an omega mom, our existence was considered an abomination by our society, neither fully high-ranked nor fully low-ranked. The high wolves would despise us for having our blood mixed with the slaves, while the slaves would treat us the same for being above them despite having the same blood. It was like we had no place in this world.

Then- "You still there?" "I’m here,” Dron replies, voice quieter now. "Just trying to process this soap opera of a nightmare. So let me get this straight: You, a vampire who’s never believed in the whole ‘mate’ crap are suddenly bond-tied to a girl who doesn’t know she’s supernatural, and oh, by the way, she’s also bonded to a werewolf?" "Yeah. That about sums it up." "Arc…" he groans. "You live in a CW show."

She added. "Hmmm, how come I'm the only Human here?" I said so she was stunned. "I wonder what? You're really the only person in the whole Vampire high. You can't go with pure vampires because they might be wild, especially since it's fashionable to get injured in the game. When we smell blood we are getting wild. "she said and bit her lip "Especially the Half Vampires and Half witches, they might just curse you. If you join the Half Vampires and Half Wolves, you might just be overwhelmed.

They blame him for his leadership in dealing with the attacks on our kin. A band of werewolves lived with the humans decades ago, there affinities with the humans produced the half breeds. A pure blooded werewolf have complete control of themselves when they change their shape, but the half breeds have strayed away from that ability. Half breeds are the cause of the savage attacks in the human villages but humans blame all our kind in general. They hire vampires to protect themselves from wolves, calling themselves the wolf hunters. Tss. I call them blood scums. They serve the humans in exchange for blood, how pathetic. The war between the vampires and werewolves have ended for more than a c

Rosa sucked out the air and struggled to calm down. I closed my eyes, feeling somewhat weak as I sought to capture her thoughts: “Amelia is half werewolf and half vampire." And you don’t even share blood with her.

“A wolf was also involved. Maybe you were scratched. Or bitten. Or….something else happened.” I tried to understand. “But I thought you said that your Messiah will be a half-breed? How can they look down on a half-breed it if will be their savior?” “Such is the paradox of our religion,” he answered. “Tell me more,” I prodded. “How exactly is a half-breed different?” “True vampires feed from the moment they are turned. Half breeds usually don’t begin to feed until they come of age.” I was afraid to ask the next question. “When is that?” “18.”

I added. “Exactly. Since we both have alpha eyes, he could get them from either side. I can’t decide which ones I want him to have more.” “You mean her!” “No, it’s definitely a him.” He smirked. “I guess we’ll know for sure in nine months.” “Six actually.” “Six?” “Werewolf pregnancies are only six months long. So we’re going to have the whole summer to spend with our new son.” “Daughter.” Alex laughed and kissed me. “I can’t wait to prove I’m right.” *THE END* To be continued: Wolfborn, Book 3 of the Wolfbane Series
